Hi we're staying in Sequoia Lodge Montana Lake View room from 11/7 to 16/7 and note we'll be there for 14/7, a saturday and Bastille Day.

I'm wondering if we should take in the fireworks from our room (no balcony) that evening OR

Are the parks busy that evening and if so, is it worthwhile we book a table somewhere now?? Might even be too late now-hope not!!

If so, for good views of parade/fireworks etc and bearing in mind DS 10, any suggestions? AND
How do I book? Is there an email or phone number and do they speak English???

Ta much

Sorry I don't know the answer to this so I'm bumping you up as I wanted to know the same things too as we are also visiting for Bastille and for the 1st night of Wishes the day after.

Hi, the only restaurant that you can watch the parade from is Walt's, you can request to be seated in a Main Street view room when you arrive but there is no guarantee that this will be possible.

There aren't any restaurants that you can watch fireworks from ~ some tables at Inventions at the Disneyland Hotel give a view of the Castle (not sure about California Grill :confused3 ) but IMO not good enough to watch the fireworks from and you wouldn't be able to hear the music. Not even sure if the restaurant would still be open that late? :confused3

The best places to watch any fireworks from are on Central Plaza or Main Street. Main Street train station does give a good view but the music can't be heard so clearly.

The parks are bound to be very busy on these days so if you want to be sure of eating at a certain restaurant at a certain time it would be best to book in advance. If you're not so fussed where you eat, you can wait until you get there before booking. Some restaurants in the Village ~ Annettes, Rainforest, Planet Hollywood ~ don't take reservations so if you decide to eat at one of them it's probably best to try late afternoon/early evening to save queueing. For the other restaurants, meals can be booked on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 up to 60 days in advance. The CMs who take your reservations are very helpful and yes, they do speak English! :goodvibes

Thank you Elaine aka Ware Bears.

That info is very helpful and I'm going to sort this all out tomorrow.
