Can anyone recommend a hotel convenient to the airport for just one night stay. Our flight out is at 8:30 am on Sunday and we will be spending Saturday at WDW so just need a good clean place to sleep. I will be travelling alone with preschool DS and DD and want to make sure it is safe, clean and easy access to airport. We usually stay at Hampton Inns, so if anyone could give me some info on a nearby Hampton Inn that would be great. Otherwise, any opinions on airport hotels would be appreciated. TIA

My vote would be the MCO Hyatt...but not exactly budget friendly.

Definitely VERY convenient:)

I'll zip your question downstairs for more thoughts and suggestions:)

There is a Hampton Inn very close to the airport. There's also a Fairfield and La Quinta. My brother stayed in the Fairfield Suites and he said it was fine.

We like Hampton Inns so that's good to know. But maybe just for the convenience the Hyatt would be a good one too. Thanks for your help.

Honestly, if just you traveling with little ones, I would pick the Hyatt.

Just soooo much easier than schlepping luggage to shuttles, riding around on said shuttles, making sure sippy cups and blankies don't get lost in the process;)

$200/night is a steal in my opinion, to save all that stress;);)

LOL! Have fun!!

We always just get a room through Priceline in the MCO zone. All of the 3* properties they book at in that zone are very nice and have complimentary shuttle service 24/7. Recently the Hyatt inside the airport has been coming up most often for a bid of about $45. I got the Sheraton Suites a couple of weeks ago for a bid of $46 (it is my favorite). Priceline also books at the Holiday Inn Select, the Renaissance and the Marriott in that zone but they are all quite nice and you can almost always book one of them for under $50 before tax.

However, the RISK with PL is that you MAY get a room with only one bed. I don't find that common in Orlando, but it can occur.

I've never used priceline or any type of service like that and travelling alone with my little ones I'd rather not take any chances. I will probably book the Hyatt, is it right in the airport so that I would'nt even have to take a shuttle or anything? Thanks again.

Just the elevator:)

Takes you right into the atrium - where you have to line up for security:thumbsup2

My daughter got a ressie at MCO Hyatt today on priceline for fifty bucks.

wow that is great rate. Thanks everyone for all your help. Maybe I should look into priceline, although I have no idea how it works. Thanks again.

We stayed at Wingate hotel back in December. It is about a 4 min drive to the airport. It is right behind Tony Roma's & within walking distance to Bennigans & other restaurants. They have a great free breakfast in the morning as well. No sure abiut the price as we stayed for free on Trip Rewards points but I would stay there again
