BTW-ohana's or wc skillet if you had to pick to eat twice ther in one week what would it be?

How about LeCellier at Epcot? They have a lot of different steak choices. Or I would suggest Biergarten. While there are no ribs or steak, there are a lot of selections in this buffet and he can go back more than once. Or there is also Boma which has a great selection I am told. I personally would not do WC twice; we didn't like it when we were there last month. DH actually got sick eating either the ribs or the chicken in the skillet. We've never done Ohanas so I can't comment on it.

We loved Planet Hollywood!!! DD(14) said the ribs were the best she'd ever had (and she has eaten A LOT of ribs :)) We all enjoed our meals and the service was good too!

Were you looking for the day you highlighted in red text? Wasn't sure. How about Rainforest Cafe at DTD? They have a lot of options for steaks and ribs. I've copied a few of the descriptions from Allears site, since they describe them better than I do! I've had the ribs and they were great!!

Jungle Steak and Shrimp - char-grilled 7 oz. flat iron steak, topped with steak butter and paired with tender shrimp scampi and Safari Shrimp Skewers $23.99

Primal Steak - center cut NY strip aged 21 days! Charbroiled to perfection, topped with steak butter and served with Napa vegetables. $28.99
--with stuffed half Maine lobster $39.99

Tree Top Filet - center-cut, aged tenderloin steak, charbroiled and topped with steak butter, and served with a grilled portabello mushroom and Napa vegetables. $29.99
--with stuffed half Maine lobster $39.99

Mojo Bones - A full rack of slow-roasted pork ribs, basted with Smokin' Mojo BBQ Sauce, served with cole slaw and Safari fries. $24.99; Half-rack $19.99

Maya's Combo - Combination of Mojo Bones, Safari Shrimp Skewers, and Tuscan Chicken, served with Safari fries and Napa vegetables. $24.99

Le Cellier in Epcot has great steak, filet, new york strip, but they are really hard to get into, particularly if your dates are coming up in the next month or two. Coral Reef in Epcot has a great steak that many here rave about! We are going there in Nov, can't wait! Kona did have a great filet that won out over Coral Reed when I posted a thread, but they stopped serving it a few weeks ago! Arrghgh! But, they also said the prime rib is really awesome there, too! Prime Time 50's cafe is really fun and yummy too, with lots of options and I recommend that, too. You didn't say, but do you like Italian food? Tutto Italia has awesome food that is sure to fill up your DF and they do have a big grilled pork chop dinner. Oh, and the Boma buffet has some great food, lots of meats and has been raved about and recommended by many posters!

I personally wouldn't eat twice at WC or O'hana's either. I haven't heard much good about Ohana's(for dinner, their breakfast is awesome!), although I'm sure some people like it. I'd pick another restaurant I'd heard good things about or go back to one I had eaten at earlier in the trip and loved, if I could get in again.

Anyway, hope you find what you are looking for and have a great time!! :goodvibes

When did you go? Dfi was planning on the ribs. I've been reading that servers are being rude, the place is loud and problems with having to share 1 desserts and not getting indivual. We have ressie for 11/20 on a Thursday, i wonder if that makes a difference.

BTW- the rib pic we saw looked awesome, thats why we picked it!

yes for the day highlighted. I'll have to look at the food porn and checkout Le cellier

Yes, do that! There have been a couple Le Cellier threads here recently. Good luck trying to get a ressie there if you try to! We are going the same week you are(you mentioned the 20th and I remember you from a Nov thread, I think). I've been trying to get one for Nov 18 or 21. No luck yet, but I just keep trying! :)

Hey, I just noticed our two tickers, one below the other, is it right that you are also arriving on the 14th of Nov? Wow! Very cool!! I can't believe one more month either, but now that it's so close, I'm afraid I won't be ready, and too soon it will be over! I told my DD18 I'm not coming home unless she promises we can come next year, so I'll have some planning and a new trip to look forward to, lol! :rotfl: I was sort of hoping she'd say no, so I could stay there, but noooo, she promised we'd come back next year! :lmao:

LOL!

Is coming fast and i'm not ready. I've spent most of my time waiting for decent airfare, wdw codes, figuring out ddp ressie and just the basic transportation to and fro. I now need to look into what to pack, things one must haves meds, etc. I'm so excited. Hopefully we can retirn in 5 years with a new addition if its Gods will. If airfare wasnt to bad i'd go back in March 2009 and dec 2009-lol!

Just read your ticker. this is also DD(10) b-day trip that i promised her when she was lil like 2-3 and she remembered-lol! What a magical b-day it will be :)
