Recipes for a 5yr old's birthday party!

This weekend a friend of mine is have a jungle themed birthday party for her 5yr old. It got a little bigger then planned so she really only wants to have snacks and stuff out for the kids. Anybody have good "jungle"recipes ?

I did a jungle party for DD's 3rd birthday. I just served pizza & cake but I do have some ideas. One easy one is to get some animal cookie cutters and cut out little sandwiches for the kids. You could even use them to cut out fruit animals using apples, melon or pears. Make jungle snack mix with dried cereal, pretzels, cheese crackers etc. Ants on a log (celery stuffed with peanut butter or cream cheese with raisins on top) is another idea.

put bunches of bananas all over the table for decorations~ I have a picture of cupcakes decorated like lions. I also saw coconut bowls at Meijers a few weeks back, pretty cheap.

how about building something like the "Volcano" they serve at the Rainforest Cafe. make that instead of birthday cake.
