Reciept for final payment

I'm getting paranoid.......the disney web site is having technical difficulties....I paid off our sept. trip a few days before the final payment was due and I think just before ticket prices went up but now I'm freaking because I can't check my trip planner and it's been two weeks and I haven't received a reciept........should I be worried?

i wouldn't be, but give them a ring tomorrow afternoon to be sure, after the mad rush from people trying to get through today is done. We booked our trip and paid in full back in December, and were told we wouldn't get a thing until a few weeks before our departure date. Lo and behold about 5 weeks later we got a confirmation stating paid in full. So it seems a long turnaround time isn't necessarily out of the question.

I paid off our trip a few days before the due date. A few days later a bill came in the mail for the full balance. DH said I should call and make sure the account was credited. I didn't call because I could see online that our credit card had been charged so I'm not too worried about it. I'll give it a few weeks for the confirmation to come in the mail.

I paid my package off about 2-3 weeks ago and did not receive a receipt. But I know it was paid because I talked to CRO about something else and she confirmed it for me. I would not worry.

I paid my balance off on 6/9. Less then a week later, I got a receipt dated 6/9/06. Just to be sure, I printed of a page from the website stating I owed no money. It also listed the dates the payments were made.

I paid our trip off on 8/4 for our 9/27 trip. I received the "paid in full" confirmation in the mail earlier this week.

I paid off our Sept 16-21 trip on July 29th. I received my "packet" in the mail on Monday, Aug 14. The packet was: A nice clear "pouch" with an embossed disney emblem and it contained the Planet Hollywood meal voucher, the Planet Hollywood souviner voucher, a Hotel voucher showing the confirmation number, etc... and a ressie sheet listing what was included in the package and who was listed on the ressie. Also included were 3 very nice hologram (of the castle) luggage tags (one for each of us). We are not using ME transportation, but if we were, from what I understand, those vouchers would also have been included.

Henlady I'm curious - did you use Dreams Unlimited or do Disney direct? Sounds like DU and my dates are just a few days off from yours (including when I paid final balance) so I'm hoping I'll get something SOON! So easy to get worried about this stuff!

I never recieved a reciept But at 39 days out. I got a voucher. And ME luggage tags. No embossed anything, no, voucher for planet hollywood though. So, I tried to call Disney today, and thier circuits are down?? What is going on?

I booked directly with Disney back on April 5th. I always do my own travel plans/bookings. My packet came directly from Disney in one of their blue and white envelopes.

After I paid the final amount on the package, I did not receive an additional receipt showing that it was paid, but it did show paid on the disney website. I didn't get anything until the info I received on 8/14.

I was finally able to get through to reservations yesterday and check Disney has it down as PAID IN FULL......yeah

I made my final payment on 7/28 for our 9/16 trip. I received my final paperwork, tags and vouchers this past Saturday. Also, in the nice (but stinky) plastic-embossed envelope. Everything on the paperwork seemed to be dated 8/5/06.

Thanks for the info, I need to call WDW since we paid our ressie in full on 7/28 and have yet to receive our packet.

I am paid in full for my trip on 9/18-9/24. I received my ME packet last weekend, but not my stinky plastic envelope yet. I was told this usually arrives about 30 days out from your arrival date. Hopefully mine will arrive soon!

I go in 30 days, and I see from your sig that you're at 29. So, we're pretty close. I called today (which I do about weekly) to confirm ADRs, confirmation numbers, connecting room request, etc. On the same call, I was able to confirm the date the trip was paid AND the CM was able to tell me the date on which the "stinky envelope" documents were printed (8/12). So, I should have them any day. Maybe it would put your mind at ease to call and ask specifically when it was printed?

FWIW, I LOVE my stinky envelope!! That smell tells me that WDW is just around the corner!!

Someone on the Dis told me I wont recieve anything else other than the ME voucher. Because I booked directly through Disney. I will definately call them in the am. Your reservation information, planet hollywood vouchers, luggage tags, etc.... come in a nice clear, embossed, plastic packet. I guess if you actually put the plastic up to your nose and smell it it has a "vinyl/plastic" type smell. I did not notice it at all when I received the packet, however after someone on here mentioned it, i held it to my nose and it does have a smell of vinyl. Not something I would pay any attention to, but that's me.

The envelope contains another copy of your reservations, Planet Hollywood vouchers , and those nice little luggage tags (not your ME stick ons). And it does smell plasticky and vinyl. BUT, the contents are worth the smell!!

I booked directly through Disney and just received my "stinky" envelope on Saturday. We leave Sept. 17th. It was in a large blue-and-white envelope slightly larger than a piece of paper folded in half. In addition to the luggage tags, it contains the vouchers you'll need to present at the front desk for your tickets, meal credits, Planet Hollywood meal and merchandise vouchers, etc. If you haven't received it, you might want to give Disney a call.

The DME info and luggage stickers (I'll not call them tags to differentiate between the holographic castle tags that are so coveted) came in a separate envelope about two days before that was solid white and looks a lot like junk mail - so keep your eye out.

However, other than the general itinerary that was included, I never did receive anything that specifically said my trip was paid in full, even though I paid it off about 6 weeks early.
