Hi Everyone-
Unfortunately my fiance and I aren't getting married at Disney, but we are honeymooning there, and so we wanted to incorporate Disney into our wedding/reception. We thought it would be fun if we named all of the tables at the reception after something Disney. We have all of the names picked out, however we are trying to decide how to put them on the tables. I have seen some table names with photos of the couple on it, so I am trying to incorporate our picture with the Disney name, and I thought it might be nice to have some sort of description of what the table name means. For example, if someone was sitting at the Crystal Palace table, and they didn't know what that was, they might like to read on the table name what it was.
Sorry if this is confusing! But if anyone has any pictures of their table names or suggestions that would be great.

Thanks!

I love your idea and think you should do it exactly as you have stated. It will be perfect.

There were less than 25 people at my vow renewal so I didn’t think table names were needed. However, the vendor who was handling a few of the minute details of my event had convinced me otherwise.

Due to the progressive nature of my dinner party, and due to the various table arrangements that were used in each of the different venues, table names only made sense for the dessert portion of my dinner party. Since there were going to be three tables in that venue, the vendor had suggested the following names: Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. I thought the names were perfect for the "Land Of Oz" venue and thus I gave the go-ahead.

The vendor used heavy cardstock in three different colors. On each card was printed in white the name of the table: Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. These cards were topped off with a multicolored bow and were placed on silver easels. The bows were identical to the ones that were tied to the mini-purses that were filled with colorful Nerds candy. Each of those mini-purses held a different colored card that stated my guests’ names. Those mini-purses were situated at each place setting so each guest knew where to sit.

Again, I love your idea and think you should go with it.

I think that is a great idea. I had a friend who found Castle table number holders and put the characters in each to name the tables. She used only the cinderella theme. I am trying to find castle place card holders....

Check out www.capturedmomentsboutique.com for great prices on Disney items.
