We did the Party this past Monday night (5/15) for the second show.
As "suggested" here, we lined up early for the check in while the first show was still checking in by showing up around 7 pm (sorry, I don't recall the exact time). They had the sign up for second show already and we were first in that line. We DID have to wait about an hour for them to finish with the first show queue, but my daughter (16) was not wanting to participate in anything at the time anyway so the wait/rest wasn't too big of a deal.
Being first in line, we DID get first choice of seating. I specifically asked if seating was selected then, hoping waiting to be first wasn't wasted and was assured I was getting my table choice locked in then. Selected a high top table in the center front and got it. She said there were only 3 of those and said it was a great choice (she might have said that regardless of my selection, though). We were told to return to the same place at 9:35 to be lead to the tables, which worked out great. We were still in the first "parade" to seating which actually went much more quickly than I expected.
Our server brought our dessert plates quickly after we were seated and took our first drink order. I had the ONE-derful Cooler (vodka based), wife had tea, daughter had hot cocoa. The single stranger seated with us also had tea. I didn't think it was weak and it tasted OK. After a short time, they asked if we wanted another drink and I got the sparkling wine, which was a decent dry wine, but a very short pour. I forgot to ask what it was, but DID hear them popping corks behind us. They also offered and brought bottled water before the show started. They brought us take-home boxes pretty early as well.
I won't picture the plate because it was exactly as show a few posts back, with the strawberries instead of grapes, two packs of table crackers, brie and 3 types of sliced cheeses and the mentioned desserts. I thought they were all pretty tasty. My daughter and I both took several sweets home with us, but we all ate our cheese and crackers.
We enjoyed it and it was very nice to have secured seating. Even at the end of Day 2, we were all tired of standing around. Sunday night's fireworks show at DL was less enjoyable due to standing and a poor view, so it was a good change. I'm mixed about the cost, but good gravy we spend a lot of money in our 4 park days!!!
