Recent travelers to Tokyo, did you get a passport stamp?

I am on my second passport, and one of the things I love are the stamps. I know they are moving on to facial recognition upon entering countries now, but last year we were lucky to get a stamp in Dublin and i was so happy. So, coming into Narita airport, do they still stamp passports from the US?

I was there this past February and landed in Narita, yes I did get a stamp, and it was just digital something they did on the way out.

Yes we got a sticker put into our passport when entering the country as it was required to redeem our JR rail passes. You just let them know you need it when going through immigration. You can ask a lot of your Japan questions in the other lands section of the boards where they have a sub board just for Japan and Tokyo Disneyland. It’s a helpful bunch of DIS members over there.
