Recent Reports of Positive Tests at the Ports

My theory is that they call a positive test "inconclusive" and then run the PCR so that they aren't sending people away with false positive rapid tests. But, that's just a theory.
"Inconclusive" is an actual result so I wouldn't try to read anything more into it.

Inconclusive typically means there wasn't enough sample collected. As the school nurse puts it "get plenty of boogers on there." With the antigen tests it can also mean a defective test (doesn't show a "Control" line), or not enough or too much solution applied.
