I have been to orando before in the summer months and know how you can have a brief rainshower daily. But, we are going in a week and every year I look at the forecast and see thunderstorms predicted for every day and start to get nervous.
In the past week, has it been the traditional weather, or has it been raining and thunderstorming all day long? We are going to US/IOA for one day only and it has to be on a specific date and I'm hoping it's not a waste of money if we can't go on alot of the rides.

Throw on a poncho and keep trucking. A lot of the rides are indoors so you'll just have to worry about the rain walking to each ride, but the ride won't actually close down. The rides that are outdoors will close down only if there is lightening within 5 miles. At times we've ridden rides when it was pouring and looked terrible outside, but there was no lightening so they kept everything operational.
