Recent Monsieur Paul experience for pescatarian?

Hi all -
I don’t want to be that person at MP’s but I don’t eat meat other than fish. It’s a preference not an allergy. Has anyone recently been able to sub in a second fish course in lieu of the meat course?

I'm the exact opposite of you, so my experience may not help fully - but I don't eat any seafood. Since they've gone prix fixe, I was worried I wouldn't be able to eat there anymore, since all appetizers are fish-based and the fish course too. They had no problem substituting non-fish items for me, both for the appetizer and the fish course. They brought a vegetarian dish in place of the fish course, so wasn't able to get two meat courses, but still very tasty and wasn't disappointed.

My guess is if you don't eat meat, they would substitute a vegetarian or vegan option in place of the meat course.

I’m allergic to fish and received beautiful options, some of them from the vegetarian options. Amazing. I was given 2 meat courses, which was great as I was having trouble choosing. If you can eat fish, you’ll be gold. Probably you’d be offered the snapper and the scallops. There is also a sea bass in puff pastry for 2. My DH had the snapper and he said it was some of the best fish he’s ever had.

As a follow up, no issues with 2 fish courses (scallops and then snapper). We had a great experience at MP’s and will add it to our restaurant rotation when staying at Beach Club.

My wife doesn’t eat meat as well a preference and does not have anything high in sodium. That’s a medical thing. The chef came out and asked her what she liked and he made her beautiful meal with 2 seafood courses. Go they are extremely accommodating
