How long is luggage taking now w/ all the changes going on at the airport? Is this causing the luggage to take even longer to get to your resort?

I wouldn't think it would impact the luggage delivery system at all. Most of the impact is going to be on those who are beginning their travel. There shouldn't be any holdups at the end, just the start at the departure airport.

I agree with Diane. The changes in air travel have to do with items not allowed in carry-ons when one is trying to board an airplane. There are no changes with the handling of checked luggage at the end of one's flight.

It's possible the new regulations are resulting in some passengers checking luggage that used to be carried on the plane. We don't know if the increase in the amount of luggage being checked is significant, I doubt it. Even if the increase is significant I think the likely result is bins and trucks getting filled and dispatched, slightly faster.
