Recent Magical Express Experiences and Wait Times?

Hello!

I'm arriving with my family on Saturday around 11:30am. Do yall think the wait for DME will be more than 30 mins, any recent experiences? I keep seeing people post on facebook that they are waiting for an hour or so. This is rough with small children, might hire a car company if thats the case. I went last in April 2021, it was about a 15 min wait. Thanks!

I went last month. We got in Friday night around 8pm. We were on and leaving the airport in 15-20 minutes — the longest part of that being in the line to checkin.

Leaving was the opposite. We left on a Saturday at 12:30p. When we got there, they were already two buses behind from the 11:30. It was completely chaotic and some of the 11:30 people had already called Ubers. We didn’t leave until after 1. It was pretty chaotic as they eventually had 4 buses lined up back to back. The problem was they only loaded 1 at at a time and eventually one of the drivers just said it didn’t matter what time you were leaving because they had so many buses. But that wasn’t true — it took 15 minutes for each one to leave so you had a combination of 11:30, 12, 12:30 and 1PM people all trying to get on the same bus even though the earlier ones were obviously the ones on the verge of missing their flights.

Our most recent experience was Tue. Nov 30. Walked right up to the counter and then waited about 10 minutes for a bus.

We landed at 11:30 on Friday 11/12 and walked right on to a bus. The bus left within 10 minutes once all the luggage was loaded. We were staying at the BWV and our bus stopped at the Riviera and the YC/BC first.

Arrived Monday 11/22 walked directly to the DME check in at 2pm, directed to bus line for Beach Club and waited about 5 minutes to board a bus and left shortly after. It was an actual DME bus, and the driver was pleasant and helpful. We were the 4th of 4 stops, AOA, POP, Caribbean Beach then Beach Club but it still didn't take very long.

Pickup was on time and no stops on the way to the airport plenty of time prior to flight departure.

Our driver said he tried to start the video but there technical difficulties.

We did see video both to and from the airport, not the old promo video but some cute cartoons and a few "inside the parks" type shorts.

In our Oct trip, we waited 50min for a bus to show and a member of our party going to another resort waited 60min. Then another 20min or so to load the luggage. It was a long wait.

My assumption is that due to everyone needing to bring luggage onto the bus causes the entire system to back up and take longer for a given round trip.

Bus was waiting when we arrived and we left in 10-15 minutes.
