Hello! We will soon be staying at the Hyatt at MCO the night before our cruise. We have always found that to be so convenient. Of course, pre-Covid we would go down to the lower level of the airport to join everyone else from the airport who was waiting for the Disney transport. It’s my understanding that Hyatt guests are now “collected” right from the hotel lobby. Has anyone done this recently who could tell me what time they start picking up guests from the hotel lobby? I know at one point this past fall, they were leaving quite early, but I read that more recently they had started leaving the Hyatt later in the morning. I’m just wondering if that’s still the case. Like everyone else, we’d like to maximize our time on the ship, but if the transport isn’t leaving the Hyatt until late-morning, I should probably adjust my expectations. 😉

We stayed at the MCO Hyatt and used DCL transportation on 1/2/22 and 1/21/22. Both times we were instructed to be in the lobby at 10 am to depart at 10:30am. It was about a 45-minute ride to the port.

That's disappointing. The bus was leaving at about 9:15 back in the fall.

How do we get on the "list" for DCL transportation from MCO Hyatt versus the lower level of the airport? Do we just tell them at check in that we are taking the DCL transportation and to add us to the "list"? I tried to call and find the answer but the wait time is extreme!

Call DCL and tell them you are staying at the Hyatt and need transfers specifically from the Hyatt rather than general airport transfers. This is a different category and will be reflected on your reservation. Set an alarm and call DCL the minute they open their phone lines (not 10 minutes later, or an hour later), and you will not have a long wait when you call. I speak from experience.

I took your advice and called right at opening time and only had to wait for a small amount of time.... not 200+ minutes! Name on the list for MCO Hyatt now. Thank you for your help! :duck:

Same for our stays in September and January. Both times we had tested and were onboard by 12:15 so not bad
