I’m interested in taking a Minnie Van from Pop to PC. I was wondering if anyone had any recent experience about where the van drops you off. Is it with the other drop off passengers or where the busses drop off passengers who have come from the hotels or airport?

Does Minnie Van service run to the port? I thought it was only resorts to MCO or MCO to resorts. If they do drop off at port, do you know cost?

Minnie Van does run between the Port to/from a Disney Resort. The price is $240. We will be trying the service next week from the Port for the 1st time. Minnie Van said they will pickup on the opposite side of where regular Disney transports pick up but a Cast Member would be waiting with a sign to bring us to the vehicle (as they do at the airport).

Welcome to the DIS. :welcome:Will you please come back and let us know how it goes? What time did you schedule pickup? I ended up picking 8:30 am.

We used it in November to the port and were dropped off in the area you are describing. Next cruise we are using it both ways but I've yet to read any description of port to WDW.

OP, the drop off is separate from the spot most people are dropped off by private cars or shuttle vans but it is not the same area as the buses. As DisChicago said, it is opposite side of the building. Our driver did go down the same road as the buses but then drove in front of the building to the opposite side. When we went through the security booth, we needed to give our passports to our driver who presented them and told the guard our cabin numbers.

Thanks BCV!! I absolutely will. We picked 9:30AM as the pick up time. So we shall see how it goes! :tigger::sulley:

Great...looking forward to your report. Happy sailing! :boat:

Thanks for answering my question! Just a follow up... Did you tip the driver or was that included in the price? If you did tip the driver, was it in cash or did you add it on to the van charge?

We did tip in cash. That is actually the only way to tip because you are charged for the trip at time of booking.

How many people/bags do the vans hold?

MJ
When you book the Minnie Van they will ask how many people will be riding and the amount of luggage. Depending on those answers, Minnie Van will send either a Chevy Traverse or a Chevy Tahoe. (I’ve had both coming and going from MCO to the resorts - remains to be seen what we will get from the Port [2 passengers]). Hope that helps!

$240 round trip or one way?

I surprised my DD for our SW Cruise in January with the Minnie Van from Riverside to Port Canaveral. We had an awesome driver! She was waiting outside our resort at 9am(she was early for our 9:30 pickup) in a large SUV with a sign with our last name. Our PAT was 10:30 and that’s what time we arrived at port. Bottle water was offered on the ride and we all talked Disney.

When arriving at the port, we drove thru a security gate (not where the Disney bus lets off) porter took our luggage, we went thru security with our carry-on, received our KTTW card. 15 minutes later on the ship

Highly recommend Minnie Van to port. Book early!!

Wait. They were already boarding at 10:45?? Or does the Minnie Van get you on before Concierge and Platinum?

We used the Minnie Van Service in Dec- we were originally booked with DCL transfers (the DCL Bus) and then switched to the Minnie Van Service about 3 weeks before our cruise as it had just become available. When we switched - I noticed I now needed to pick a PAT time on my check-in page - prior to switching I was not able to pick a PAT as we were using DCL transfers. So as you can imagine - all the earlier PAT times were gone.... I could only pick a pretty late (for me ) PAT time at 3 weeks prior - I believe it was around 12:15 PAT.

I had the Minnie Van Service pick us up at 9:45 anyway - figured I would rather hang around the terminal than the hotel :rolleyes1. So we arrived at the terminal around 11:00 or so - and at check-in they gave us the current boarding number :worship: - and we were able to get right in line and board the ship - I have no idea if we were just randomly pixie-dusted at check-in or if this was due to using the Minnie Van Service - but we were thrilled as the terminal was packed and we did not have to wait at all.

Question...

Since you are arranging it yourself, could you have them pick you up at another resort if you wanted to have a special breakfast elsewhere? Or do they have to - like the DCL bus - pick you up where you were staying?
