Received Pin Code/Bounceback email in error!

DS is in WDW now, said he didn't see any bounceback type offers in his room @ CSR but...

"I" received an email from Disney Destinations to my email address this am, was doing the until i read it!!!! (see below)

Apparently for DSnot quite sure why it came to my email

anyway, it specifies a 3 digit pin code & states to call before check-out 407-9XX-XXX or use TA to book, looks like a typical bounceback offer.

Not sure if it's worth calling and asking if i can use it, even I would have a hard time arguing that one, what do you all think, give it a shot?

i believe the official rule is he has to be in the travel party, which he wouldn't be as i gifted much of his current 1st solo trip & the well is dry lol

I would call and see what they say..We just got back from a split stay at Allstar sports and CBR and both rooms had that bounceback offer. Plus I, my husband and my son received emails from disney with the same offer...It's worth a phone call!!

I was told by the cm when I called the other day, that it was the address that mattered. So anyone in the house the pin came to can use the pin. I asked if my daughter could use a pin if I received even if I wasn't going and she said yes, and I could use a pin with her name on it even if she was going. Other dissers have said they were told the same thing, so I'd try to use it. Do you two have the same address?

I was shot down in flames...twice

Both CMs i spoke to were surprised offer came via email vs announcement in the room

I was told DS could always book 2 rooms before he leaves WDW, then cancel his so I could keep 'my' room via the codeso why not let me just use it in the 1st place?

I did tell the supervisor I spoke to that they needed to disassociate my son's name from my email ASAP as if i do get another offer designated for him sent to me...i'll be back & in full whine mode lol

We just got back from Sports and CBR and in addition to the bounceback in the room I too received an email for a value bounceback.

Also, when I got home I had a free dining pin, not for different family member, but for someone else in my state with my same name!
(CM says they would have honored that one because I had a valid pin number, and then I spent 5 min. on hold while she sorted it out with Guest Relations.)

Thanks! Sad thing is the general public code I booked under is a better deal than both the FD pin and the AP rate currently out.
