that the party happens at Cal. Ad. We have never been before (obviously) but thought it would be at Disneyland. Has anyone been who can tell me what to expect?
Thanks, Christine

If it's like last year you'll have a blast.

There were 13 candy stations to stop at to add to your goody bag. About 7 spots for photo ops with Mickey & Minnie, a Princess spot, a hero spot and a villian spot. Short lines for nearly every ride and live entertainment throughout the park.

Are tickets avaliable for the general public (i.e. not AP holders) yet?

Thanks!

Woohoo! Thank you. I just got our tickets for October 22nd! :cool1:

Darn it, we get there October 14th and leave on the 19th. The MHT is only on Oct 13 and Oct 20! miss both days by one day!! Oh man!

I got ours for the 26th (we figured the early night would be better for our little ones), plus if they love it, we can maybe swing a second go round before we leave DL....

I am trying to figure out a costume for me to wear..... anyone else planning on dressing up? I assume I will have a Princess or fairy and a pirate with me.. plus a big jedi dude :).

I'm thinking about dressing up, possibly as Cindy. Anyone know where to get adult costumes?

We have tickets for Halloween night, it'll be our first night there. I'm planning on the kids dressing up, but not me. I'm trying to figure out some simple costumes for them since we want to pack very light this trip, plus the trip is hopefully going to be a surprise. That is if I can keep a secret for almost 4 months! :teeth:

I tried to buy the tix last night and it told me it had to check the availability. Well by noon today I had not heard anything so I called and my order was never processed. I just placed my order over the phone. We are doing the 30th. One of my girls wants to be Ciny, the other a pirate. I am going to dress up but it will be something light and easy.

Last year my daughter and I went to the party and it was loads of fun, the candy stations each give out large handfuls of candy. There was a great parade, all the cast members were dressed up in fantastic costumes!!

We went on a Friday night and Disneyland was open for another hour or so after California Adventures closed. Adults wearing costumes are not allowed into Disneyland, so I decided to stay in regular clothes so we could visit afterward.

My daughter (in my sig) was the only Princess Leia we saw and when we went into Disneyland she received so much attention. She loved it, some people asked to take pictures with her and everyone waved. She was introduced in the Star Tours ride as well, she felt like a real princess, albeit not a Disney one.

We are going again this year, we wouldn't miss out on the fun!

Here are some pics:

Are the rides all still open? Does it get too scary for little ones? My DS,6, is a bit of a wimp... not that the others are much braver. We will be at DL on October 30, so I was thinking of buying tickets for this for the evening. Thanks. Deb
