Just wanted to pass on what I was told today from a Song employee regarding rebooking flights that were purchased on-line when a lower fare becomes available. He explained that when you rebook for a lower fare, you have to call them BUT they can only give you the lowest phone fare available, which may or may not be what the lowest online fare is.
For example: You booked for $200 online originally. You see the online fare dropped to $130. You call to rebook for the lower fare, but the lowest phone fare is $170. They will only give you credit for the difference between your original flight and the new phone fare amount - so in this case, a credit of $30.
You might luck out and find the online fare and phone fare to be the same, in which case, you'd get the full credit amount. This can be true as I checked on their phone reservations flights for November and they were identical to the online fares.
Hope this helps some of you out!
