Reasons why you have picked the resort you have

Well OKW was my first love, bought there and stay there every other stay. I've never had any issues booking other resorts at the 7 month mark. I've stayed at all of them except the Poly, enjoyed them all!

maybe i should have said "free" entertainment. i've been to the boardwalk numerous times to see a magician or juggler or whatever...only a very short walk away from the BCV and a lot of fun. walking from SSR to DTD is quite a bit longer (the boat is definitely nice, though) and i'm not aware of "free" performers at DTD.

DTD should be very nice when complete. i like the food options (including the food trucks) and sure, bowling and cirque du soleil and such give you a lot of entertainment options. but it's a very different vibe. if DTD is more your thing, that's not a problem.

Not sure when the last time you were at DTD, but there is stages outside everywhere and FREE bands and other entertainers everywhere. Plus they have the main stage that has major events on all the time. We were just there this past march and were at both DTD and BW and there was way more going on DTD then BW

When we bought 15 years ago, they were selling OKW (60s buildings had opened) and BWV. They were also getting ready to sell VWL. We were undecided. In the end, we chose OKW and have had no regrets. When BCV started selling, we understood the whole system better and knew we wanted BCV for it's location.

Also - wanted to add that there is lot's of free entertainment at DTD. We go one or two nights at DTD and at least one night at the BW area for strolling, entertainment, food, ice cream.

Its great that there is entertainment at DTD again, but its a cautionary tale on things changing.

When SSR opening there were fireworks every night from DTD and The Adventurers Club. A lot of SSR owners bought for those things. They stopped fireworks and closed TAC years ago, and for years there were plans - but not a lot happening in DTD.

Activities around resorts can change. The POS documents do not guarantee a monorail at BLT or animals at VAKL or activities at BWV.
