Reasonably priced Man Airport Hotels- Etrop Grange?

Hello all,

I need to book an Airport Hotel for the 12th Feb (for 2 adults) and 16th July (for 2 adults and 1 child age 14) close to Manchester Airport.

I've stayed at The Radisson and Bewleys before but they're both coming out quite expensive, quite a bit more than previous years.

Has anyone stayed at Etrop Grange, it looks quite close and it has shuttles included, the cheapest I can fns it for Feb is £66.

I prefer to stay as close to the airport as possible as I am a worrier about traffic or late shuttle buses/ taxis etc!

Etrop Grange is a nice hotel, not a chain so a bit individual, popular with business stays.It's very close to the airport, half a mile if that. There are two premier inns and a holiday inn(formally Travel Lodge)also very close with a shuttle and a parking package, if you need it,those are no more than a mile away.

Have you stayed at Etrop Grange? If it's only half a mile away at least I can run the airport if the transfer doesn't arrive!

Which Premier Inn is it thats opposite the airport? Is it Heald Green?

We stayed at the Freight Terminal one. It was huge. No complaints from any of us! Definitely worth checking the website for cheap deals.

We didn't have them because my bil was with us and drove us over. Don't think it was very much. Your Feb dates are £44. Don't forget cashback x

We stayed at premier inn last year time for £29 & have booked fior this year at £35. We get a taxi that takes about 10 minutes max.

I haven't stayed there as I live a mile away, but my mum has several times, and she prefers it to the Marriott.

I have stayed at Etrop Grange a few times and can't really fault it for an airport hotel. It has some character and good service, and is close to the airport itself
