From the NYTimes:

With the arrival of snow in New York and the unusually severe storm in the South - which dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas -- the National Weather Service said an unusual nationwide occurrence had taken place. There was now snow on the ground in all 50 states - including Hawaii, where snow fell on a volcano -- except for Florida.

yeah everything was moving NE I think, so FL was spared. its chilly though, only about 55 right now bbbbrrrrrr:lmao:

We received about 4 inches of snow here in northern Delaware last night. As I drive to work every morning, I pass the sign for I95 south and every morning that it is cold and I just spent time scrapping the frost off my car, I think to myself. All I have to do is get off here and in 16 hours I can be in Disney World!!!!

OK, this is just about the best post ever.... thank you! :rotfl:

Sign me up now, as well!

Only on reason 2012? As I look out my window at the snowflakes flying I see reason 5123, reason 5124, reason 5125, reason 5126............

While this time of year always makes me second guess only living in Tampa for two years I'd take a Cleveland January over a Tampa August every time.

If I could swing spending a couple of months in Tampa every winter I would but I'm not sure I'd want to live down in FL year round again.

I'm counting down the days to head south. I lived in the snow belt growing up and I've had my share of snow for a lifetime. I'm ready for some fun in the sun and theme parks. Hoping to move down to Orlando after our Daughter Anna graduates high school.

I'd love to live in Florida from November through April. If I lived there year 'round, I think I'd spend a lot of the summer vacationing in Alaska, Canada, or northern Europe. :teeth:

If we didn't work in musical theatre, we'd be right behind you.

There was the same post last year but there was snow in Florida. All 50 states has snow at some time last year.

I lived in Fl or 3 years when I went to college, I loved it. DH and I often talk about moving to Florida.

This made me laugh...

Anyone else hear Kevin's voice when they are shoveling or scraping their car out in the morining saying something about shoveling all that sunshine :lmao:

We will be in FL with in the next 4 years or whatever the countdown in my signature says. We can't wait!

Nothing wrong with a little sledding, skiiing, and snowball fights to fight the winter blues. When it's 93 and humid in Orlando in August there is not much you can do except sit in air conditioning, even pools don't cool you off during those months.
