Really Want One Day At Universal

Ok, I don't want the 7 day/all parks/$85pp deal that I keep seeing (thus costing my family of 4 close to $400 US for Universal). I just want one day at Universal but really was hoping to find a discount or deal out there. I wonder if those coupon books in FL have even $5 off?? The majority of our vacation is dedicated to Disney, but we haven't done Universal in 10 years and I'd love to go back if I can find a deal.

Any ideas??

The internet purchase ticket option is no hassle either, we did it last fall and really easy to use the machines at the gate and very quick.

You can also use your CAA card for discounts at the ticket booths, it's close to the advance purchase price but you don't have to worry about buying right now. Who knows, maybe a better deal may come out before you travel. Also you can try the CAA travel offices, they sell tickets for WDW, Universal, and Seaworld with some offers only availible to their members.

I think you can also sign up for a Southwest Airlines card, which is free, and you print out a temporary one and it gets you 20% off.....I know it definetly works for Sea World and Busch gardens as well!

Yes...its a really good deal.
You can visit both parks as many times as you want .
The 7 day clock starts the first day you use them.
There is no expiry.You could use them next week or next year.
The tickets are electrocnic and can be picked up at the gate using your credit card (you used to purchse)to prove your identity along with a confirmation number.
If you do not want a 7 day....then single days are available.
Ebay has some great deals for Universal Orlando tickets as well (they are transferable)

Neither....this is an Online purchase although ,I'm sure they have sales at the gate,I don't think the prices are quite as good as online).
Its very easy. You buy it online securely.......you print of the tickets at your local printer (or pick them up at the gate).Its that easy (I used it last year).

The 2 park, 7 day deal is not available at the gate - it must be purchased online and for those that haven't done it, electronic pick up is a breeze. I used electronic pick up last year for my annual pass and had a 2 minute wait for a terminal. For those that haven't visited Universal in a long time or have never and are now considering going, I strongly suggest a visit to the Universal side of these boards. I can not recommend strongly enough that you also try to stay at one of the 3 onsite hotels. The front of the line perk that your room key gives you is the best!
