While yes the rotunda is from SF.

I think the rest of the building is quite fitting for the peir area. If you look at design concepts for the LM building you will see a couple that look much like the picture below. It's from Coney Island.

As the design was refined it progressed to the current building that was built.

Yes! I can see the similarities with the Coney Island building which is stunning. I can't wait to go next month and see the LM ride at DCA. I have purposefully avoided a lot of the pictures and videos posted online so it will be a big surprise :goodvibes
 
Having being at both WDW & DLR, I like DLR better, it just feels cozier, you can ride Space Mountain & Star Tours in the same, not to mention that DL also has Matterhorn & Indiana Jones :cool1:

You can even watch Fantasmic & the fireworks from the same location & to top it off CA now has World of Color.

We enjoy WDW a lot, but when we go to DLR we don't feel like we are missing out on anything.
