I am not posting this on the hotels board because it is more of a budget post.
I am going to Disney with my son during his leave and he asked to stay at Embassy Suites. He loves the managers get together (free drinks). I booked last night at the discounted rate of $123 which I thought was pretty good but today I got an email from Hotels.com for $82 a night.
I just cancelled my reservation and booked through Hotels.com.
The place is clean, there is enough room for all of us with the 2 rooms, and the breakfast is a great bonus. Embassy suites has one of the best breakfasts of any of the hotels in the area and it is included.
The 2 hour managers reception is ok. The alcohol is not top of the line but for a mixed drink it is hardly noticable. He likes the beer so he will be happy. I was told by the booking agent that they now serve a small dinner along with drinks. She told me they had hot hourdourves, no just the salsa and chips and popcorn any longer. So we might be able to have a big breakfast on them, eat a big lunch out somewhere and then the light dinner on them will be enough for us.
I only wish he had more time off, I could only book 2 nights.
