Really bad experience at BOG dinner

My family- a party of 3- dined at BOG on 6/7.

While the food was good, the service was the worst I've ever experienced at WDW.

We saw our server three times during the entire meal- once to take our order, bring dessert, and bring the bill.

Bread service never arrived, we actually grabbed another service- and it finally came after the meal. We ordered steaks- and had no steak knife. By the time we asked another random server- our meal was cold. And not once were our drinks refilled.
I did ask to speak with a manager, and was given a very cold and uninterested apology.

Any thoughts in a place to call/email?? I just feel like this is so unacceptable for such a highly desired dining spot!!
 
Oh I'm sorry that happened. While I wouldn't expect perfection from any place that busy, you are talking basic service here! And you tried to rectify it and got nowhere. I hope someone has an answer for you:(

We went in February and without question it was hands down the best server I have ever had at WDW in over 75 meals (including signature). This guy was a credit to his profession and I was wowed by how friendly and knowledgable and attentive he was. Such radically different experiences. I'm sorry yours was so unpleasant.

We enjoyed the food, our server was OK but we were just so incredibly rushed with one server (not ours) removing one of our party's food before she had finished! I understand that it's new and they're rushed off their feet or whatever, but still... that's no excuse for your bad service.

It's a wonderful setting and this just puts a huge dampener on it. We didn't speak to the manager (although I wish I had now), but seeing that you did and they didn't really care, well that's uncalled for.

Hopefully as they hype dies down these issues will resolve :confused3

We were there the next night. Our server was good except for one thing. He got a different beer than what he ordered, but he was charged for the one he ordered, which was more expensive. That irritated me, but over all the service and food was great. We figured it was just some sort of miscommunication about the beer.
