RealD 3D glasses

Has anyone ever tried to use the RealD 3D glasses (ie. The glasses received at movie theaters for 3D films such as POTC) on universal rides such as Spiderman? The last few times that we have been to Universal the glasses were so scratched that you could barely see the screens. Just want to know if the glasses will work.

don't know about that , but I always wanted to buy my own

has many different types. I think one of these works in the parks.

Nope. RealD uses circular polarization, where Spider-man uses Horizontal and vertical polarization. (For now at least. May be circular when the upgrades are finished.)

I hope when they upgrade that they go to the style of 3-d glasses that are used for the new Star Tours, those things are pretty darn comfortable for 3d glasses.

Just tried the glasses on Spiderman today. They did not work.
