This was not fake.

The story behind this is both people involved were performers at Disneyland. The guy talked to several co-workers and managers and go permission to have the event on Main Street. The girl did not expect it. And it was professionally taped by Disney.

Very often managers will allow and even work with CMs to do something magical for them if it will not be disruptive of normal park operations.
