Real early planning

My wife and I (just the two of us) will arrive at WDW around noon on Christmas Day, 2003. We will depart for home on January 2nd. We're already thinking about dining arrangements of course, especially Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Any suggestions for a "traditional" meal (Ham, Turkey, that kind of thing) on Xmas. Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom has been mentioned somewhere, but we're not sure we want to deal with that "craziness". Anybody have good holiday dining experiences that you'd like to share with us, or just general recommendations.

i can't really help you w/suggestions, but would like to recommend the candlelight processional at world showcase. it is wonderful! you can purchase a dinner package, but this is really not necessary to see the performance. we usually do the package just to make for a lovely evening. one restaurant to consider of dining is artist point at wilderness lodge. it is fabulous. and you get to see the lodge's christmas decorations. BTW, it is never too early to start planning!! LOL happy planning!

We went last year at thanksgiving time thought we would have problems with a traditional dinner. Had no problems finding one. If you have been to Disney before maybe there is a special place you like. We ate at Rose and Crown they had on the menu a turkey dinner wanted to see the fireworks while eating dinner. Disney hotels will also have a nice dinner for time of year. Call and place your PS early. Hope you have a special time.

Thanks to both of you. We will be looking at the PS charts soon to see when we need to make "reservations." It's just so difficult to decide where when there are so many choices, and we've only eaten at a few of them. Anybody else have suggestions for special holiday meals, buffet or "order from the menu?"
