ready to book...need info

I'm just about ready to book our trip. Does anyone have advice on booking with Disney?

I understand they want a $200 deposit. Can I make payments on the balance or do I just pay it all at once before we leave?

Is the deposit refundable if we can't go?

Has anyone here used vacation insurance? Is it worth the money?

Yes you can call the # and all you have to have is $200 big ones to book. You can make payments on it, but you have to have it paid off 45 days before your reservation date. I didn't take the insurance, I guess I will be taking a chance being we are going the first of OCT. I think that you loose you deposit if you cancel but not 100% sure .

When you call to book your trip, ask them the question about if you have to cancel, will you get a full refund. I'm sure you will get your deposit or any money you have paid, back in full if you cancel at least 30 days or more prior to the trip. That's the way it used to be anyway. Now if it's less than 30 days before you trip, I'm not sure what happens then.

i see your from ohio ....... me to.... well i ended up calling the disney people to book our first trip and boy was i nervous........ well it turned out i called them like 5 times and i didnt realize i was getting charged long distance for each call so i would use a cell phone if you get free long distance....and make sure you do all your research because we decided to stay at animal kingdom concierge level so i had to change my reservations and they charged me 50.00 just to upgrade to concierge level...... but most of them were very helpful.... have a great time.... vicki
