Ready For My Trip....Got My Power Chair Rented

I contacted Care Medical, and got a Jazzy power chair rented for October 27th-November 3rd. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant, and asked me all kinds of questions like, would I be the one using the power chair? Yes. What was my height? What was my weight? Did I use a power chair at home, and if so what model is it?

Delivering it to the Marriott Grand Vista where we would be staying on the day we arrive wouldn't be a problem either. They were concerned about me using it on LYNX since that is gioing to eb our only transportation the whole time my guy Dan Haugen, and I are there with our friend.

It's $315.00 plus tax altogether. That was the price that they gave me over the phone. I think it was $65.00 per day. You could call them, and ask. Their phone number is on the list of rental companies that's a sticky at the top of this page.

It's going to be so much easier on not only me having the power chair. But, on Dan, and our friend who is traveling with us as they won't have to push me in my manual wheelchair all over. My friend is also thinking of renting a scooter herself from one of the rental companies because she has a bad back, bad hips, and bad knees.

Has anyone stayed at the Grand Vista? Is it pretty easy to get around with a power chair/scooter? This will be Dan's, and my first time staying there. Our friend has stayed there before.
