Ready Beds?

We are planning a trip to WDW taking our 4 year old DS for the first time. It is just four of us, DH, DD (14), DS (4) and I. DD and DS don't do well in a bed together. When we cruised last spring break, we used it for him and it was a lifesaver. I was wondering if anyone has ever used a Ready Bed at Disney.

Thanks for any input!

Where are you staying? Some of the resorts have day beds and the WL has bunks in some rooms. You can also get a cot. Sorry I don't know about the ready bed.

We've used our ready bed for dd4 for the last 3 trips. It works great and dd loves it -says it is very comfortable. Since it is easy to pack and to inflate it is a great option for little kids. We stay in a 1 bdrm at DVC resorts so we usually put it on one side of our bed and the pack-n-play for dd1 on the other side. We considered the aerobed version but the ready bed was so much cheaper that we thought we'd give it a try first and it has worked out well for us. We have used it to visit Grandma, in other hotel rooms, etc. and it has always been great.

I have two ready beds (Bob the Builder and now a Sponge Bob 3 in 1-can be used like a lounger, chair, etc). We have used them on cruises so my now 3 yr old has a place to sleep (hes used them since he was almost 2). We dont have to worry about him rolling out of a bed/sofa. I also have an aero toddler bed which is really nice when you have more space. It is recessed in the middle so kids cant roll out. The aero beds inflate a lot easier and faster than the ready beds with the auto pump. The ready beds come with a cheap hand/foot pump. Mine squack after a few pumps which is really annoying. Ive never had a problem with any of the beds leaking (as long as you make sure the valve inside is closed correctly before putting the cap on) and both types have held up to being jumped on. To save room during the day, I just stand the ready bed up against the wall.

Thanks for your input! You have been a big help. The ready bed has been great help for us when we travel and makes my son feel more at home. Plus, I know it will save my teenage DD and make me the good guy for once if she doesn't have to share a bed with her little brother.

Have a great evening!

what is a ready bed? Aero bed -- I know what that is, but I have no clue what a "ready bed" is? Can someone enlighten me? I am planning our trip to Disney in May and am concerned about what my son (who'll be ~21 mos) should sleep in. When we took my daughter at 2 yo, she slept in the bed with rails -- no problem, but she is a phenominal sleeper. My DS, on the other hand, is not so amenable to sleeping and definitely not as advanced as she was at this age.... Oh, and he hates Pack-n-Plays - absolutely won't sleep in them! (I know, I'm nuts for considering the trip -- but we NEED a family vacation)..... So, what go you experienced DISers recommend? I'm hoping park exhaustion helps make him sleep better, but I'm a little afraid of letting him sleep in a big bed with his sister....

Help!
