Reading trip reports

[A Small World]

I love reading TRs. Its several years since I went to WDW and am not planning another trip at the moment (its been loads of trips to DLP over the past few years) but they remind me of things I did and give me ideas for if I do go again. I love seeing pics especially of people in the report.

I prefer the each day on a seperate thread approach as find it easier to find where im up to. Ive written loads of TRs on the DLP board and tend to now put a link at the beginning of each day to the previous one in case it cant be found. I also like the way its done on the Paris board where the completed TRs are in an index so sometimes wait til its complete and read the whole lot at once and sometimes read it as its being done - waiting for the next part.

I like TRs with lots of thoughts and opinions on things rather than just a list of 'we did this then did that then after did this .........'

I prefer the 'separate thread for each day' too as I find it easier to keep track of where I am, especially since I don't come on the TR board every time I log on. I also love to see as many photos as possible, it makes the report much more interesting, especially if it's about places I've not been to.

I'll probably spend the next three months reading as many reports as I can in order to make me even more excited so a huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to write them.

I love reading trip reports!! And pics just help, don't they ..

I've got a pre-trip report going at the moment since I'm going on a Disney cruise oh-so-soon!! Kinda exciting really to share details and excitements!!

I like lots of pics, like journey day and settling into the accommodation, food pics and individual days posted. I am going to make an effort to leave notes on TR's even if its just 'thank you for taking the time and trouble' as its very satisfying when you've done a report to know people are actually bothering to look at them. I must admit to posting my reports so I can have a quick look at them from time to time with ease and also so my pen friend in America can easily see what we did as well as sharing them with other Dissers. I do especially look out for any that are in connection with somewhere we are thinking of visiting or can only dream of visiting!
