Reading conflicting info. re: Magic cabin 2608--alexandrew?

Hi there,
Just read in the stateroom report that another DISer found this stateroom to be noisy most of the evening and mornings. Anyone else have this experience in this stateroom??? As I've mentioned earlier, I am a light sleeper and would have serious problems getting to sleep if this is really a noisy room. I think I have time to try to change cabins, if needed.

I would PM the poster of the review of 2608 and query him regarding the source of the noise....maybe noisy neighbors? maybe an isolated incident of unruly teens running through halls?

We've found 2608 to be incredibly convenient in terms of location....In addition, we've found this stateroom to be quiet as well.....this is truly an excellent stateroom....

If you look at the deckplans, there is nothing on deck 3 that would create noise (a hallway), and 2608 it is not far enough aft for engine noise to be a factor....these are considered to be the 2 biggest factors contributing to a noisy stateroom....
