I understand what they thought and hoped to accomplish
To have not everyone show up at the same time, but everyone showed up at the same time anyways ans there was a 3rd of the spots available.
We'll see how 1pm goes

To me that's just very naive of them. The only way to not have everyone come at rope drop is to not make being inside the park a requirement

I agree. If they knew they were keeping BGs before park pass reservations went live, they easily could have tied them together.

Same issue at 1 but i had explained what happened to the get and was first in line at 1pm and that were able to override the system and get me in.

Haven’t been to studios in a while, where are the GET located? And what did you say to them

Not sure how they messed this Boarding Group process up so badly, they should not have even had to change anything. If you still need to be tapped into the park, the new park reservation system should have nothing to do with it. I have people coming up in my group that have not been linked to us for years and people that are in our group not showing up at all. And different people showing up on different devices signed into the same account. What a mess, hope they can fix it for everyone. Would really suck not to be able to get a BG, and now have to stress about it 3 times in one day, and then not even be able to Park Hop.

I need a step by step as I'm not seeing how to actually join a group. I click on the button that says join group but then nothing pops up for my party. It just goes to the screen that says all groups for 10am have been taken. I tried right at 1pm also and nothing happened for a minute until the time changed to all groups taken for 1pm.

I started refreshing at 12:59 and we have BG 49. I don't know if we'll make it, but thought we'd try.

I'm not seeing anywhere in app to see what BG they are on. This is what I get when I go to My Queues

I agree. If they knew they were keeping BGs before park pass reservations went live, they easily could have tied them together.

I know right? Or maybe they should have opened at 8am and had AK open at 10am instead. Starting late only makes rope drop worse because by then the late risers, the TS breakfast-eaters, and the folks driving in from off-site are all ready to go.

Now that they are doing afternoon time slots I think would be especially helpful if they allowed you to check in from outside the park. We normally go back to the resort for afternoon breaks on summer trips to avoid the hottest part of the day, and now we are likely to be stuck in the park trying to get a boarding group if we aren't lucky in the morning.

Glad they got you in but boy what a mess. I would be absolutely livid.

We got lucky I guess. No issues at 1pm, and got group 44.
