Heading down in 8 days!!! Taught my daughter, so now she knows it’s a competition to see who gets it first!

I definitely was planning to go in with an open mind either way, as I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, and my kids are super flexible regarding rides. However, my dad is coming with us and just told me yesterday that people at work said we “have” to ride this ride. Ugh! So we better get a boarding group now!! Fingers crossed for success, but I can’t be any better prepared than I already am.

And everyone keep in mind it’s a Sunday, on Presidents’ Day Weekend, with EMH. Not exactly low crowd day
Exactly! Really the only crowd size that matters is how many people are in the park at opening trying to get a BG. Even though Christmas season has higher crowds, if there are less people in the park than boarding groups available then the groups will last longer. And a lot of factors lined up to put many people in the park this morning. (Including all those who didn’t get a BG yesterday or Friday).

My favorite data point is Christmas Day at HS. If I could pick any day to go since ROTR opened that would be it. Boarding groups lasted for 5 hours! People wanted to spend Christmas morning with their family instead of getting to HS before 6 am. The ride lines were comparatively light that day as well.

I don’t have data on my phone, do people with wifi only ever get a bg? One person in our party will have data but that is it.
People have said WiFi seems to work better if you are away from crowds, and near a FP+ tap point. Be sure to check your signal strength over a period of time, and run several speed tests.
It's crazy to think that it was so much easier to get a BG during its first week of operation, then it is now.
Sure, if you were willing to get up at 4am!

They just came by with water bottles for everyone but no chips or chewie. They said if we need to use the restroom to just let someone know at the entrance and they will give us a lanyard to return
I think people have said that there were separate teams distributing the solid & liquid rations. Solids may be on the way.

I'm going to be at HS next month, nearly 3 months after this attraction opened. I didn't expect to see this frequency of the ride going down. I mapped out my visit thinking that the ride system would have had the issues more resolved after nearly 3 months. I haven't tracked the DL version so I do wonder if they are experiencing the same intermittency as HS.
Haha! Have you ridden Test Track? It’s only be open a couple of decades ....

Evacuated again at the same spot!
I know it’s asking a lot, but would you by any chance be willing to go to the spoilers thread and say where you were evacuated twice? If not no worries, I’ll survive :teeth:. This no even tiny spoilers rule here drives me crazy, it’s like being teased constantly but not getting the interesting information.

We showed up to use our second FP (from the second evacuation) and it’s down again...

The line has been moving pretty consistently from 12:01pm to 12:28pm. I don't think they're adding new BGs because I think they're trying to get through the line. There were quite a few people waiting in the queue and it was backed up all the way outside.

Weve been currently stopped for 7 minutes though...it may have gone down again

Does anyone know ... have there been days when they’ve gotten through every backup BG? If that happens, do they add more - or just shut the ride down for the day?
