I have a question about multiple people trying at once. All of our stuff is on one MDE. DH and DD do not have accounts and everything is run through mine, with them as family and friends. Should all 3 of us log into my account and try, or will that mess up the system?

Multiple people can try from the same MDE.

yes all should try at the same time using your account, it will not mess anything up

Practising from home. It was 30 secs for me before it hit backup groups as well. Definitely hit back up groups when it was still 8:00 AM.

Practicing from home. Two people from my party weren't showing up in the app (as others have experienced), so I moved forward with just dh and myself. I had to close the app and by the time I did see my kids on the list, backup groups were in effect. It wasn't 8:01 yet when I was seeing backup groups.

New version of the app seems to be a lot slower than the previous version. I could log in from unloaded in 12 seconds, now it took 30 seconds.

Yes, I had my computer set up to show seconds as I used my phone to test and the backups definitely started in less than a minute on my end.

Yay for everyone there today for grabbing your BG's! I've still got a month to practice lol

Hit join, but for some reason 2 of my family members were missing. Tried to go back and forth a couple of times, but they didn’t show up. Had to exit and restart the app, and then they were there, but we were already on backup groups. We really need a boarding group before noon on Feb 14. Maybe I will wait a few extra seconds to start next time?

And make sure the app is closed before you launch it (and not just running in the background).
