2/4. Bus at music at 6:37 (app said another was coming at 6:47). To studios a few min before 7. Straight walk through bag check (no line). Gates opened a min or so after 7. Walked up sunset to bench closest to tot and RnR and announcement came on boarding groups open at 8 as expected. Now crossing fingers technology doesn’t fail me - cellular and ride wise

Here. Way more people than I expected at 6:30.

Wonder if it is:
- people still just used to the 7am openings
- people skeptical that Disney would stick to 8 and not just open earlier until they are them really stick to 8am opening
- just more people are ok with getting there at 6:30 vs 5:30 so more people there by now

Probably all of the above and some other reasons

Here we go! So far, so good! Caught the Pop Century bus around 6:50, through Security and in the park by 7:05. (Small lines at Security and gates already open.) Getting caffeine at the Hollywood Junction stand. Fingers & toes crossed!!

Just got to park. Through security and tapstiles in less than 5 min. Stay right! About what I expected for crowds once inside. Wish us luck. Been reading since day 1 and practicing multiple times. Hope to get a decent number today.

We will be there tomorrow. Today at MK my MDE app would not go past the castle splash screen for a good two hours. Shut down my phone etc. It’s working again now but hopefully it won’t do that again in the morning! Driving over from Ft Wilderness, may the force be with us.

I was also at MK 185 minutes for Space, down for an hour, BTMRR down in the AM , Super Bowl crowds.....still a good day.

So yesterday was my day. Staying off site near to Disney Springs with rental car. Planned to leave at 6:00, but we ended up leaving at 6:10. Got to parking booths at 6:20, parked at 6:30, at line for bag check at 6:35. Through tapstiles at 6:45. Walked to Sunset to wait. Tmobile, wifi off, full bars. Closed app completely. I waited until 5 seconds before 7:00, husband waited until 10 seconds. I practiced this timing a dozen times and the button always was red and clickable upon opening. This time it wasn't. Hit my status, nothing. Refresh, nothing. Start hearing all the cheers, still nothing. Now I am panicking and swearing. We close the app and try again, nothing. Refresh my status, finally I get in, choose my party and group 69. 64 and above are backups. So disappointed but it's out of my hands now and we hope for the best.

We head to RnRC, waited 5-10 min. Then to TOT, posted time 40 min, only waited 20. Next we hit TSL and use FP for Slinky. Get breakfast at Woody's and then head into GE through the back entrance. Really amazing, so well themed. So many people though! It was madness. We try our best to navigate around. MFSR is 80 min so we wait on that. ROTR is now down, I am feeling sad that we might not get to ride if it has a bad day. We do more GE, hit Star Tours, build droids, have lunch at Docking Bay. BG are moving again but they're only in the 40s. Take break back at resort around 12:00. Numbers keep climbing up. 2:30 it's in the 60s so we pack up and head back in. While parking our group is called. We go straight there, wait only about 20 min. Ride is amazing. So unique and immersive. Never experienced anything like it before. Disney knocked it out of the park with that one. We were blown away. Now we head to MFSR and wait 30 min. Husband and I were pilots, son was gunner (I was surprised he wanted gunner over pilot). Ride was fun, but not overly amazing. The line theming was the best part, really feels like you're in the Falcon. We head to TSL and use FP for TSMM, get dinner. Then Launch Bay to meet BB8. Saw lots of SW characters coming in and out. Then back to GE at night, so cool to see it lit up. Saw Galactic Spectacular, loved it. Headed out after that. Best day ever.

I have a question about multiple people trying at once. All of our stuff is on one MDE. DH and DD do not have accounts and everything is run through mine, with them as family and friends. Should all 3 of us log into my account and try, or will that mess up the system?
