Unless they have rearranged things recently, the restrooms next to the guest relations window are past security. Our family members have used those while waiting for the tapstiles to open and have not had to go through security again.

This is no longer the case. A fence enclosure now separates the outside GR windows from the restrooms just to their left, as of Jan 2020 if not earlier. You must leave and re-enter security to use those restrooms.

How crowded is DHS today? Would lower regular BG's given mean anticipated lower crowd levels?

BG 44. I hate to say it but I had a dreaded ‘glitch’ and when I got to where I selected add to boarding group, I kept getting an error message that said there is an issue we cannot connect.

This happened twice, I closed the app reopened, it happened one more time. In the meantime people all around me shouting out the boarding groups. . I am here solo but thanks to everyone on this thread and all of the tips, I had my husband and a couple of my friends at our kids’ bus stop () logged onto my account back home. My husband ended up getting me in my boarding group.
Good news is I have faith in The Chart so I know 44 is ‘safe’. Have already been on and off Smugglers run and I’m heading over to my SDD fastpass.

I saw on Facebook today that backups are 78 and above. Definitely reducing the number of guaranteed groups.

They were doing this last week when I was there. The back ups started at 81. I guess they want to be able to give out less fast passes if the ride breaks?

If you get a BG earlier than you want, can anyone on GET change it to a later one? Exiting and re-trying sounds a bit risky

They could just have it set up now where at minute one the regular bg close regardless and it goes into backups. So, yes, lower groups means less people trying at opening

People have opted out and tried again just to get a larger bg. But you can go to a GET and see if they can move it

Just this morning, I scored a SDD for 8:35am for our party of 15 on 2/5. I've been obsessively watching MDE for an opening on it and finally got it today!

Just got BG 4. Key is to open the app 10 seconds to 7. Works better than refresh.

I am at work and thats exactly what I ve tried and had no issues. Will try that now from day to day till we leave Germany for our vacation.

Man, I have literally been refreshing the app for 2 weeks to get the good FP's for next weekend. Have been able to get FoP and SDD for the times I want. Still working on 7DMT for a good time (all that's come up has been around 9pm). The small downside to being a local lol.

It's a reason why enjoy the BG system with RotR. Even playing field for everyone for the biggest ride. Def wouldn't have been able to be on it 3 times without it.

Thanks. BG 44! It’s pretty crowded. That said, looking at the wait time for Tower of terror, it’s less than it had been over the weekend. There’s a very very light rain, and it’s pretty chilly still here at 8 o’clock.

Rode Smugglers run and SDD, time for a coffee!.

For what it’s worth, new FP’s dropped last night from 8-9am for next week. Not sure if that will help you any, but hoping it gets you a little extra magic

That seems like a poor arrangement if they’re going to have thousands of people penned in waiting for the gates to open.

How long does it usually take your app to open? Mine normally takes 15-30 seconds before I can click the Learn More button. (Antique iPhone 5s)

Mine takes 12 seconds. iPhone 7. Verizon
