Currently stuck on ride. 😬
Also stuck on the ride. We are the next vehicle to unload right at the end but they just told us we will get fps to come back later anyway. They are announcing that it will be an extended delay
So now the all-important question... a normal extended delay... or the ride doesn't open again until after 2pm! Hopefully not the latter!

Line snakes around the building... look for the CM holding the sign "Starbucks line starts here". They have all stations working and are as efficient as you could possibly be with the thousands of people in the park at that point. If you're there early anyway, what else is there to do? lol I waited both days I was there and it really wasn't that bad. This girl's got to get her coffee :)
Is Starbuck's the only option for coffee? Honestly, it upsets my stomach, so I'd just as soon go somewhere else to get my caffeine.

Sayhello

MDE website is getting hammered. I was able to get into the selections for the 1st day, and only evening FPs were left. I can't get past the snowman now.
LOL , it really is. 7dmt was not even showing up in the app this morning. Even as “no times available”.
and thats bit even in HS

We are headed to HS tomorrow. My wife is the coordinator of all things Disney and we are all linked through her app. To increase odds of getting a BG, should I download and log into app as her on my phone as well? Can she and I be logged into her account on two different phones to increase odds of getting a BG? I see mentions of different people within families each attempting to get BGs but can't tell if they're all each using the app logged in as themselves or logged in individually.

Yes, you can do that. Lots of people are doing it that way. My sister and I each have separate MDX accounts and we're linked to each other's accounts. That works too. Either way is fine. MTFBWY!

Unrelated to RotR but for people coming after Feb 19th MFSR is now available for fp as a tier 1 along with SDD Everything else moves to Tier 2
Thank you for posting this! We are going for a short trip in early March and I changed our DHS FP+ around this morning. Now have 3 we actually want rather than 2 + a throwaway :)

Yes, absolutely you can have more than one person logged in on the same MDE account on different devices. I highly recommend it. I had dh and two of my kids make their own MDE accounts and have regretted it ever since. It would have been FAR FAR easier to just have all of us access the info on the same account. Of course, you do have to be careful with letting other people into your MDE as they could accidentally or purposely cancel dining reservations or fastpasses or whatever. Just wanted to throw out that caveat.

Today’s experience with RotR and Galaxy’s Edge:
Decided to drive. Party of two. Not my first rope drop. 😃

Left All Star Movies at 5:40am. Traffic was minimal. Arrived and parked (in third row) by 5:55am. Went pretty quickly through bag check and was in line -at right about the ticket booths- shortly after 6:00am. They began letting people into the park at 6:17am. We wanted to ride MFSR so we went to the Galaxy’s Edge corralling area (stopped just past Frozen sing along)...and waited.

I had my app open but just on home page. (Where it reads Find Out More) At 7:00am, hit that, then ‘join boarding group’ (only had to add one) and got BG 10. I don’t know if any of that makes any difference but I didn’t have to refresh or anything. And I’m used to using the app, so no prob there. (People near us were group 77 - luck of the draw I guess?) Then we rode MFSR - which after the initial large line...moved quickly and we were on in about fifteen minutes. (Pilots today!!) As we got off the ride our BG was called. We walked over, there was no wait for RotR.

Ride was awesome. We were back on our way to the car at 8:30am to get some breakfast, take a nap and check into our next hotel. Crazy morning and the stars were aligned or something because it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Headed back out later to use our FP. Wishing that for all of you! ❤️

Short version:
5:40am - left hotel
5:55am - parked at DHS
6:00am-ish. Through security and in line.
6:17am - gates open
7:00am - BG10
7:20am - ride MFSR
7:49am - group called
8:00am-ish - RotR
8:30am - left park for sustenance and sleep.

When we were leaving the signs were up that all boarding groups had been distributed for the day.

worth it - YEP!!!!!! 👍
