Read Me!Im a PTR! graduation Dec 2011!!!update 12/8: I GRADUTATED!LEAVE IN FEW HOURS!

I'm glad you were able to get the ADRs you wanted!

I get so nervous when I get those emails from Touring Plans!! :scared1: Luckily the last one I got was a lot of changes that were actually a good thing, and it didn't mean any changes to the plans we already made. Thank goodness! I am holding my breath until November & hoping I don't get any more!!

And I love the pictures of your December trip, especially Devyn's hat!! But man, looks like it was just a little chilly with the way y'all are bundled up. :goodvibes Brrrrrr!!

It was very kind of you to make the Tusker House at ten instead of pre-opening for all those late-risers. I prefer to be a late riser myself.

I think your ADRs ending up great. Garden Grill will still be there next time.

Yes my sister has been that way forever. Last year they were an hour late for our chef mickey reservation at 9. so i figured i will tell them it is at 9 and they will be on time:thumbsup2

Thank you! It was sooo cold. we were there during that cold front last year. It was snowing in georgia

So i decided that i would recap my days for my may trip. So lets start with day 1. I was crazy to schedule a 7:55 AM flight. I thought it was a good thing at first until i went to bed at 2 am the night before and got up at 4am. Atlanta airport is about 40 minutes away. My mom and i were up and to our surprise so was devyn and TJ, my nephew. They both did not go to sleep till late and i thought they would fall asleep in the car but they did not have that. Hopefully, they would fall asleep on the plane then. Hartsfield Jackson was of course crowded at that time of the morning but we made it through. Security is the worst part. I had to get all my crap thru the scanners and take off me and the kiddos shoes and try to fold this big sit and stand stroller, that i have decided not to like after this trip, while trying to keep Dev from running off cause he does that more than i like. The thing almost did not fit thru the scanners until i realized i had to lower the tray a bit and then it finally fit. I was worried cause what happens if it doesn't fit? We made our way thru the fake monorail at the airport that is not like MCO its like a underground subway. TJ who loves trains BTW, had to be forced off cause he wanted to stay on. They already only give you a few seconds. We got to the gate with time to spare and the sun was making its way up.

The plane was pretty big, the 2nd biggest one i been on besides the one i took on my flight to Europe. We finally got all loaded and on our way but we were stopped by an unfortunate event that became part of the reason why i do not want to take delta. I mean it could happen to any plane but this was the 1st time it ever happened so they got points deducted. we pulled out the gate and started making our way to the runway when all the lights went out and the plane stopped:scared1: Should i be worried? 2 seconds later everything came back on and we started moving again until it all stopped again. then the pilot comes on and gives a little announcement that we are having problems and we would check in with engineering before we moved forward. Now im scared. So what if that were to happen during take off or while in the air, i hope there are back up engines or something. That ended up being the scariest flight ever. Thank the Lord that the flight went smoothly and the plane checked out before we went up and we made it peacefully to MCO with no other complications :worship:. The best part of the flight was that both boys slept from takeoff till we got off the plane! As soon as i put Dev in the stroller he woke!

Oh my gosh!! that would make me terrified :scared1: Now you have me wondering if I should throw out Delta in the running for return airfare I need to still get.

Very nice that the boys slept. :thumbsup2

OMG that would have scared me half to death! I might have demanded to be let off the plane!! I have flown plenty in the last few years, but I am still so terrified every time I step foot on a plane. I'm glad everything ended up fine though. :goodvibes

What a precious picture!!!

I am trying not to go with delta. I would hope that things like this DO NOT happen often but they lost major brownie points for me. However, i have seen 70 dollar flights from delta before and if that deals come along and airtran is not cheaper, i will jump on it! So if the price is right go for it!

I know what you mean. I gave a 'i don't know about this' look at my mom. I looked around and everyone else was calm except me. Ive been freaked out about flying since i came back from Europe. Turbulence and all those extra dips over the ocean is not good :sad2: I so cannot swim! It also doesn't help that i think about movies like the day after tomorrow and plane crashes when i fly

At least once the engineers checked out the plane, you'd sort of know that it was safe. I bet it was scary when all the lights went out, though. Glad to hear both kids slept on the flight.:thumbsup2

That's true. I mean the delta employees and pilot would not put themselves in danger and continue to fly knowing something was wrong. That is what i thought to calm my nerves.

Hey see that you started writing about your May trip, since we were there the same time it will be intresting to see if we end up in any of your pics.:lmao:

We were in building 4 at Pop and loved it, close to you guys?

How scary about the flight. I think I definatly would have been scared that whole flight and I am not scared to fly.:scared1:

Can't wait to read morepopcorn::popcorn::

we were in the 50's, building 2 i think it was. I was scared the flight and i tried not to think about things like the movie final destination. U seen it and the crash?

Our flight managed to still land on time at 9:50am. We left for the fake monorail and the boys loved it. I unfortunately had put my camera up so I did not get any pics till we got to our first park. I was happy that the magical express line was short and we got on the next bus. We had 3 resorts on our bus. Caribbean beach, pop, and animal kingdom. The bus ride was uneventful but I gave Devyn a treat so he would sit down.

we were pretty far back so I did not get a pic but here is an old one for excitement!

After a stop at Caribbean beach we made it to Pop. I did online check in and I made no requests. It was a little after 11:30 and Pop was super crowded. We wanted get our KTTW card, drop off our bags, and go to AK for lunch. The regular and online check in line were both super long. Our wait was about 20 minutes and to much of my surprise our room was ready. Were in 50s section in building 2 on the third floor. We had a nice view of the pool and of the construction at art of the animation. Everyday and every time I walked out the room I thought to myself I have got to get a picture of this and of course, it did not happen. :sad1:

I inspected the room because I have a fear of bed bugs and everything was in top shape. So we made our way to the buses to go to Animal Kingdom! I was so hungry and dying to try flame tree. I missed out last time. So we got off and went straight there but we stopped for one quick picture. I think i was the only excited one!

We made it to flame tree and my mom took the boys while I got the food. I got the ribs and mom got the chicken and we shared it and split it between the four of us. Mom and I agreed that we like the ribs more. While I attended to get the prices to compare if we should pay out of pocket, none of my receipts had the prices on it. Too bad I did not realize it till halfway through the trip. The ribs were great, the cole saw was just good, and i do not like baked beans but the boys seemed to enjoy them. The dessert choices were limited and not good at all. I learned a way to get around this later on.

The rest of the day was fun. Since the boys love trains we started a rafikis planet watch.

ry%3D400

It was boring but it was so cool in the building and we got to meet a first for everyone.

ry%3D400

I do not see us going back unless to waste time our any kids have some interest in animals. We will just stick to riding the train for now!
After this we went to watch nemo and it was still good! we rode the little dumbo clone and went to meet some character friends and after that, it was time for a break as you can see. As we were waiting for some snacks some people could not handle it.

I officially will be done with my externship november 11. So i can change that anticipated to confirmed graduation.!:banana::woohoo:
Can you tell im excited? However, i will not hoot my horn too fast! I still have to finish and pass the exams to get licensed. I am taking one class used for a review for that so im sure the next few months will be super busy along with my son becoming a terrible two:scared1: he already has fits and im trying to start this potty training thing and he used it the first time i tried but has not since then and that was monday. He basically just sits on the toilet and check out this pic i got of him

Its so cute. I do wish i knew what i was doing though, with the potty training thing.

:woohoo: on being that much closer to being done with school!! Congrats!!

And on the pic of your little man... omg.. he is too cute!!!

:lmao: Typical man, reading on the potty! I love it! Not looking forward to potty training either... I have no clue how to potty train! Oh well, I guess Paxton & I will learn together when the time comes.

I don't think any mom really knows what she's doing with potty training. :rotfl: Just another thing to learn as we go.

Hey everyone! Ive been gone a few days and well i guess that happens when you have an AP, you live in georgia, u realize that school starts in a week and you will have no life and would at the last minute get this crazy idea to drive to c the mouse. Even though i said i would not go back in the summer and well disney in august has given me that extra confirmation to NOT go back from may till august, maybe september. I so hope that when i graduate i can get a good job and do not have to worry about school breaks to help decide when i can take a vacation. So yes, i packed devyn and myself in the car monday and we drove down and spent 2 full days in the blistering heat. It was the first time we took advantage of those midday naps cause it was crazy hot. and devyn actually took naps this time. We had a nice time but because it was so hot i felt like i drove 8 hours to go shopping. We even got to see one of my old disney college program roomies who is currently living down there and working. We also got to see devyn's godfather who moved down there a few months ago after getting a grown up job. thats what i call it when you work full time and actually make a salary. So thanks AP for calling my name out Saturday night. I cannot say it wont happen again but im sure it will not happen again till this trip coming up (maybe) but after graduation, who knows?

:woohoo: on being that much closer to being done with school!! Congrats!!

AWW!thanks! im really happy about school and the thought of how much money i will save on diapers!

:lmao: Typical man, reading on the potty! I love it! Not looking forward to potty training either... I have no clue how to potty train! Oh well, I guess Paxton & I will learn together when the time comes.

YES, YES, we r just going to the potty and waiting for the day he realizes what is going on but he sure does not like it, he cries everytime i put him on that potty

I agree i have always heard that the dad should take the boy every time he goes and since devyn's dad is AWOL :lmao: i just put him on there when i go but the whole turning on the water thing to help them go has not worked at all
