In 2 days, we are going to DISNEY!!

Im so excited but i will be sad to leave but at least i will be back in a few months with a degree in hand!!!
I have been so busy trying to pack and stuff and with my birthday! I turned 25 on the 26th and I feel old. yes i know its not old but i feel that way. What happens when you turn 30? only 5 more years. my parents surprised me with the money back from my plane ticket so it is officially a free trip for me and so i was happy to recieve this trip as a birthday gift! we also went to eat at longhorn. I really did not enjoy it becasue i was looking for the steak BLT salad i got there a few months ago but it was long gone but it was a nice treat anyway. Well thats all i have today! I hope everyone has a wonderful memorial day! and when i get back i can make ADR for December! See you guys in a week!!!!

im home from this trip. but will be going back soon.
While i really enjoyed this trip i learned a few good things but first the best part is i was able to upgrade to an annual pass! So i am all set for tickets this dec since devyn is under 2 and free.

So lets begin with my thoughts. I think i mentioned before how we use to only go in the summer as a child and the last time i was at disney during the warm months was when i did my college program in 2007. i was there till may and i quickly remembered why i had not been back..Hot and crowds and yes I know for a fact that crowds can be a whole lot worse but they can be much better. I am determined to make next may my last summer trip unless i have no ther choice. Yes i need to throw in that last trip since i have an AP.
Im not going to completely get rid of the idea of summer in disney cause that is what i grew up on but after our last trip in october with nice weather and smaller crowds i think i really like that time of year. This trip could also have something to do with a 35 lb 1 year old, a stroller that is not my macleran, and relying on disney transportation. lugging that stroller on a crowded bus was a workout on its on. That leads my to my 2nd conclusion. i will rent a car if i have to lug a stroller like that again or rent a stroller and use those disney buses. we had a sit and stand stroller bc my nephew came along as well and yes this 2 year old weighs the same as my big boy!
This last thing is not disney related but flying. Unless it is a whole lot cheaper or the only olace left to book a flight, i will not fly delta. I will stick to airtran. I like them better and hopefully will stay that way or get better when they merge with southwest. Delta was so unorganized. we spent more time at the airport checkin in than ever before. i do not know if it was becasue they were busy and did not have enough people working im not sure but it will not be a 1st choice.
I learned a few other things but I can't rememeber at the moment. I will put up pics later as i do not plan on doing a trip report. I only took some mental notes but i had a great time and look forward to more trips!!!

My parents were just in WDW a couple of weeks ago and couldn't stop saying hot miserably hot it was! I'm with you, I think we will stick to fall trips as long as humanly possible!

I'm glad you had a fun trip. I look forward to seeing some pics of Devyn having fun!

Congratulations on the AP!! It's such a nice feeling to know you could go back any time next year.

I've never been brave enough to haul a stroller on and off the buses, but I can definitely imagine what a pain it would be. I'd be interested in seeing some of your pictures, too.

Iwill be putting up some pictures soon and that sit and stand stroller was a pain. My mom and i considered leaving it one day and renting a double stroller until we realized it was 31 dollars a day in the parks. That was then end of that. I thought that was a big jump i worked in strollers at epcot on my college program and i think it was about 5 dollars cheaper but that was in 2007. i think it was like 28 or something. I know that is not much better in price but 20 something sounds better than 30 something

Yes it was soo hot. I guess im not as young as i use to be. My dad told me i use to be up and in the parks all day and he could not believe it when i told him we were in bed by 10:30. Even though i still had a great time and ill get sum pics up soon and some more when i get the photopass cd

Yes! i have not been that excited since i was a CP and got my main gate pass. . The AP may be a bad thing since i live in ga and im use to taking weekend trips done there in the past. Im going to try to contain myself and just have a longer trip next may, if i can!

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a great summer so far! Anyway a change has been made. We are going to get the dining plan and we have another family joining us, ( Just my sister's) but it just means no CRT but i have a prince so it will be alright. We will park hop and try to use evening EMH. They all have question marks because of the young kids we may not make them
We will take a late flight on the 8th, with no plans that night, we are staying offsite this 1st night or either at a value then switch to AKV on the 9th

I think your plan is great. Some great dinning choices in there. I too am hoping for dinner on that day at Ohana. I hope to get an ADR for the time Wishes is set to be going on.

I would like to do that one day but when devyn is older. At this point he may or may not stay up that late. I changed my days around to get ohana on the 9th but they were still times available on the 12th so you can snag one up!

Yes i am excited but my mom not so much because she is not a breakfast person but i only made one 8am ADR. i have only ever been to cape may and did not like it. That however was in 2007 and i went in for crab legs but i recently found out they did not start crab legs everyday till a year or so later. So i will get them this time!

I was planning my graduation trip and i started thinking about me and devyn's solo trip last December. I so loved it but we where there when it was freezing. We stayed at a dream resort, Polynesian, and i was just thinking how we most likely would not be able to stay there again for like 10 years. I just wanted to share the pics with you. Yeah... I think there are too many TS options I want and not enough credits. I am really considering dxdp cause I am going to be paying nearly that much oop for the "extra" meals.

It was very kind of you to make the Tusker House at ten instead of pre-opening for all those late-risers. I prefer to be a late riser myself.

I think your ADRs ending up great. Garden Grill will still be there next time.
