"Reach for the sky!" We're finally getting there in JAN 2012!!!TR LINK PG 69!

30 Day Disney Photo Challenge Day 9: A picture of your favorite Disney restaurant.

This is easy for me! Tusker House is my favorite as of right now. They have SO many amazing items for vegans & vegetarians. Last time the chef came out and made me a few special vegan items and walked me around the buffet and told me what was vegan and what wasn't. Here's a picture of me STUFFED after eating there!

Oh and even though it's my favorite, we do NOT have ADRs there this time! I may regret this, but I guess if I was really desperate and end up having enough money, we could walk up and do OOP. Not sure if there will be money for it, but I'm slightly concerned that I won't find anything else at AK to eat. Ironic that a vegan has the most trouble at AK eating!

Anyway, I wanted to try new places this trip, so that's why we aren't going this time.

I've never eaten at Tusker House, but I've always heard such great things about it! It looks like a beautiful restaurant too!

Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I will say that I understand that it might not be for everyone. I have a flair for ethnic foods, love unique spiced stuff and different flavors and I know lots of people don't. I also liked Boma and the Moroccan CS for the same reasons, lots of unique flavors that I can't usually get anywhere around here!

Oh my gosh I looooove your shirts! I'm in love with the Animal one! Everything looks amazing. :)

30 Day Disney Photo Challenge
Day 10: A picture of your favorite ride or attraction.

This is pretty easy! I love HM and Big Thunder, but Expedition Everest wins on this one! I love it and might not even set foot in AK if it weren't for EE! This is one of my favorite shots riding it last trip!

11: A picture of the thing you wish you could change about the parks.

I had to think about it a bit but finally came up with something! The bus system. Savannah LOVES the buses, but I think they are overcrowded and SLOOOOOWWWWWW. I think in the past few years with more and more people are visiting WDW but they are not accounting for that with the bus system. I stood in one too many horrendous lines and waiting for a few too many buses on our 2008 trip. Here's a rare shot of Savannah and Isabella(friend we went with) in 2008 on an empty bus! It was empty b/c we were headed to AKL for dinner at Boma and AK was closing, so the AK bus driver took us and another family straight to the resort! :goodvibes

I hear ya!:thumbsup2

We don't enjoy taking the busses at all, either! For us even waiting "just 10 minutes" is 10 minutes too long. And we usually wait more like 20-30 minutes or more. I figure we can easily get to all the parks in the same time it takes to get there on the bus (MK can be the exception depending on how long you wait).

Also, maybe it's b/c we have stroller, diaper bags, extra change of clothes, souvenirs, snacks, milk, etc and then have a sleeping child that you have to carry while standing that really makes us not do the busses. We find it a lot harder.

I suppose if we could just walk on and off it would make a huge difference, so guess we just have to wait until we are past the stroller stage.

So we either rent our own vehicle when we fly, or take our own SUV when we take the Autotrain.

It's not that I hate the buses, I can see how they are convienent if you don't want to drive, maybe if going to Epcot for a drink. I didn't mind them in the morning or mid-day, but at the end of the night, standing in line for 30 minutes just to cram in a bus and stand the whole way was not my idea of fun. When we stayed offsite, it was SO nice to just walk to the car and drive away! :)

30 Day Disney Photo Challenge Day 12: A picture of your favorite Disney food item.

I'm sure lots of people have a favorite like a mickey-bar or a Dole whip, but for me, it's the table service meals at Disney that I love, not one specific item. They are so great about sending out the chef and making a special vegetarian or vegan entree especially for me! I love to see what they come up with! So excited for all our TS meals!

Bet you can guess where I got this! Ahem...notice my Lapu-lapu? I had TWO of them!

Karen, I am LOVING your shirts and sweatshirts! So awesome! All of the colors are so beautiful together. My favorite has to be the Alice one: Find Your Muchness!

I MIGHT have to steal your 30 day Disney photo challenge idea! I am totally loving it! Or maybe just give myself a question of the day to answer. I haven't decided yet, but I enjoy seeing your updates with photos! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Leslee looked through all my hundreds of designs I had saved on my computer and picked the Muchness one, it came out really cute! :thumbsup2

I'm really loving it AND it's giving me ideas for things I missed taking shots of last trip...I took over 3000 pictures and yet I still find that there are certain shots I have to hunt to find to match an answer, so it's good for giving me ideas!

MORE pictures! Because I don't post enough!

So, most of you know that I'm a photographer, and I've spent a lot of time taking lovely pictures of other people's families, but rarely get any of my own! My kids are pretty sick of the camera and have been for a long time, but they finally obliged when I told them I needed to get a shot for the grandparents! So, here they are. The first is the "formal" shot that I'll give to the grandparents, but then we went outside and took a few more fun shots. The boys aren't really super serious, but I think they think if you don't smile you look cool. :lmao:

I think they look crazy old in the first one, where did my BABIES go?!?!?!

30 Day Disney Photo Challenge Day 13: A picture of your favorite “home” resort.

PoP Century! I'm not sure if I had my choice of ANY resort, that this one would be my home, but it's the only one we've actually stayed at AND I'm positive it would be Savannah's favorite home resort. She begged to stay here this trip, which is a no-brainer when we're talking about cost anyway! I had quite a few pics from last trip, but looking through them I'm excited to take some new ones with a better camera. We were in the 80s/90s last time, so I've requested 50s this time!

I cannot believe we are under 45 days now!! 44 days today! :woohoo:

30 Day Disney Photo Challenge, Day 14: A picture of your favorite night time activity (existing or past) on Disney property.

I have two! MNSSHP (specifically the Boo-to-you parade, I LOVE it!) and Wishes! So, since I can only post one picture, it seems fitting that I post a picture of the mix of those two things....Hallowishes! :goodvibes
