Lemonade Mouth Movie Night!!! Ok, I really wanted to write it all in Yellow, but then no one would be able to read it! Savannah had three of her friends over last night to watch the new movie on the Disney Channel, Lemonade Mouth. Of course, this meant I had to theme everything!

Here's the table! We had lemons (naturally!), lemonade, lemon bars, lemon candy, a lemon candle, and assorted decorations...

Savannah made a collage, to print out and give everyone, of the stars of the movie, etc.

The girls had pizza and lemon bars/candy and then went off to Savannah's room to watch the movie while Hope and I got to sit around and chat!

They came out in the middle of the movie to make our "mudslide crush dessert" The opposing band in the movie was called Mudslide Crush, so I thought I would incorporate that by having the girls make a gooey dessert from rocky road brownies, layered in glasses with cookies & cream ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and assorted chocolate and pb chips. They even MADE the brownies themselves and then we put them in the glasses when it was hot out of the oven and all warm and...I better stop now, I'm drooling!

They headed back into Savannah's room to eat them while watching the rest of the movie.

After the movie was over, they were bouncing off the walls (can you say SUGAR RUSH????) and so began the Official Lemon Races 2011!

They had a great time making up different races, in the end I told them they were all winners and could all go get whipped cream...which ended up with a kitchen covered in whip cream (what was I thinking???) but they had a blast and cleaned up their mess!

there were others, and this one was funny, I told them they had to touch at least one other person's lemon, but it couldn't be with their hand!

Successful party! I went to bed well before them, but I needed sleep after being up the night before at Summer's birth! They were quiet as mice! (sorry Hope!) OR, they weren't actually quiet, but I was so tired, I never heard a peep! I slept like a log!

Oh and you can't curse me anymore, it's not fair! The weather is HORRIBLE today (and tomorrow). It's freezing cold, 39, AND raining. Cold rain...YUCK. Take back your curse or else!

Ok, fine. Done. Curse is now lifted......is the sun out yet? Yeah, it's out here and my new to me vehicle has a sunroof!!! Oh yeah...umm hmm

So, onto Disney --- is OUR trip to celebrate in 2013 only a couple of days?? How are we ever going to get everything done?? Can't we stay longer???

Wow how amazing that you photographed a birth. The baby is beautiful AND over 11 pounds.....i cannot even imagine. WOW!!!! That's great though.

Amanda, I just asked Savannah what they all thought of the movie and she said that they all agreed it was the best movie Disney Channel has released since Camp Rock (which says a LOT, they all loved that movie) and they liked it almost better than Camp Rock 2 (which also says a lot!)

Thanks Kari! They really did, Hope and I were laughing watching them have fun with those lemons...it would have been CHEAP fun if I hadn't bought all that other stuff too!

Thanks! I really love the themed parties/Disney days. They are remarkably easy to plan, we just pick something and then there seems to be a million things that "go" with whatever is picked! I don't consider myself very imaginative either...of course I think Hope is the real mastermind with our Disney Days!
