It states you have to pick these up at the kiosk in front of the park, but our trip is not until Nov should I buy now....and do they give you a confirmation # or shall I wait until closer to the time and order them and risk this deal being over? Thanks Kathy

I'm pretty sure they give you a confirmation number you have to put in to the machine when you get to the park - I am going to be buying mine online in the next couple of weeks so when I do, I will let you know for sure ;)

We're going the second week in May.

We are going Apr 9th and I ordered 2 weeks ago and I printed out the confirmation number for each transcation. It states that you have to bring the credit card that you paid online with and the confirmation number and insert it in the kiosk and it will print the ticket. I also ordered front of the line passes so I have to print those out too.

Thanks What arefront of the line tickets? I only have to convince hubbie to do US as well.

If you stay in a Universal Hotel your key card puts you in the front of the line but if you are off property they sell a certain number of front of line passes. These have a different price depending on what time of the year you are traveling. They allow you to go to front of each line one time. Each park has it's own pass and then there is a parkhopping pass. These have nothing to do with the entance ticket. You can go online to Universal's website and click on express passes, a calander will come up and you put in what date you will be in what park and it tells you how much the pass will cost and if it is available. We are going at Springbreak and I was not standing in all those lines. Remember that the hotels can go over and over. We did this last year and it was great but I couldn't get the Hotel that I wanted this trip. There is no refund so if it is raining then you are stuck but we are taking a chance. I saw the lines last year and we were done at 4:00 with front of the line.

Does anyone know what happens if you want to cancel your trip and you are supposed to pick up tickets at the kiosk? How are the tickets refunded?

I don't think there's any getting refunded for tickets once you purchase them regardless of whether you have them mailed to you or request kiosk pickup.

for those that stay off site, the fotl you mentioned are called epp/express pass plus. it allows you to enter in thru the express lane for entrance to the ride or attraction.

if you cancel your trip prior to either 2 or 5 days, you can get a full refund on the room.
tickets are non refundable. have them mail them out to you and save them for a future trip.
the epp are non refundable. you would have to talk directly to someone at universal guest services/not park services, to discuss a refund if allowed on those.

My AAA agent found a good Universal "package" deal for us at the Sleep Inn Suites. It includes the kids stay and eat free. This is not on Universal "grounds". She said it is a US "Preferred" hotel.

Does anyone know if this hotel also gets the front of the line benefit like the other hotels?

Has anyone stayed here before. It's .3 mile from US.
Thanks

I would like to know the answer to this to this, I thought it was just the 3 US hotels, which I have decided to stay at without a discount and I even bought the express passes because I was going to stay offsite and then I decided that during Springbreak it just wasn't worth it.

No, sorry :guilty: to tell you this but off-site hotel guests do not get FOTL benefits. The only hotels that offer the FOTL benefits are the three on-site Lowes hotels. You can purchase Express passes at an additional charge at the front gate.

Hope this answers your question.

I just called universal today and purchased the 2 day/ 2 park tickets for the same price online and they are mailing me my tickets. I was worried about dealing with the kiosk thingy. They told me on the phone that they would honor the online prices.
