? re: luggage room in a full size rental car trunk...

I have seen a Ford Taurus, Buick Regal and Chevy Impala as full size vehicles with Hertz, National and Avis. Which one is best for luggage for 4, probably being not the largest, but mid size suitcases. I am leaning towards the Impala, but the Regal is cheaper. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I have always been able to get lots of stuff in the trunk of a Taurus. I travel with large cases for work and they fit the best in a Taurus.

I had an Impala twice last year, the trunk was huge. We went grocery shopping and a liter of Sprite rolled to the back. I literally had to get IN the trunk to reach it.

An Impala and Regal should both be full size.
