All you have to do is take one step on international Drive around where Starbucks, Wet and Wild, etc. There are so many people out there asking for people to go to presentations, or just call Westgate Resorts. I know they do Disney Tickets. Go to your search engine and put in "free disneyworld orlando". You'll find plenty of companies. Those on the streets even offer cash ($75 - $100). Good Luck!!!!!

These tickets are only FREE if you have no time value. I mean you are going to spend a MINIMUM of 90 minutes in a time share sales and very few people actually escape after 90 minutes.

Having heard the stories coming back from these pitches the cost is too high for me.

We did it at Vistana and we were out of the in much less than 90 minutes. To me, giving up an hour or so for $200 worth of tickets was well worth it. It all depends how much time you have for your vacation, how much advance planning you have done, etc... but we were very flexible on that trip and were only planning 2 days in the WDW parks, so it was well worth it.

If you go thru the tour, tell the agent that you don't like the resort. Make sure you point out the "drawbacks" (in our case, we kept saying the unit was too small for us), then when they get to the sales pitch you can say "well you know, we did not think that this unit would fit our needs, yada yada" and they won't try nearly so hard to sell you.

Just say no, I'm not interested and money is not an issue, I could write a check for the full amount right now, but I'm not going to.

This prevents them from coming back with lower offers.

No don't every tell them you can afford it at any time. They will try to counter offer you to death.

There are 3 things they can't overcome and will stop trying soon into the presentation:

1: a restless crabby child who keeps interrupting you parents asking "how much longer" MY * year old DD is very good at this..

2. most timeshare companies can not guarantee that your unit that you buy into, will be a non- smoking unit Once I complain about this and insist upon a written guarantee, they give up trying to convince me.

3. If the above things fail, then I point to the 4 wheel scooter I am using to get around in and the scooter lift on the back of our 8 year old used Caravan. I say that if I had any "extra" money to invest to better our lives, that we would buy a new safer Caravan , a new scooter lift and a new scooter for my mobility needs. That is why we are there to get "free" tickets or the reduced hotel rates- another words we would not be there if we had the money too blow. With no money in their grasp, then the presenter has to admit defeat, roll his/her eyes and have his manager sign the document you need to check out of the presentation. The last one is really one that can not be argued with.

We did this last year 5 times for one stay at the Oak Plantation Resort and Liki Tiki Village, plus a pair of Universal tickets, 100 dollars, a set of 3 sea world tickets. We got real good at it.

We are going again later this month and will be doing 2 of these one for accomodations at Celebration World and once for a pair of Sea World Tickets.

BTW they usually do a decent job on cleaning up the units we have gotten thru these promotions from the smoke smell, but that does not make it fully okay. The drapes, carpets and bedspreads usually keep me sneezing and uncomfortable a while, until I go Lysol crazy and open up a window or two intermittengly. It is small price to pay to see the smiles on my DH and DD. I would not readily invest into something that I would have to "cope" with.

Just my two cents,
