? RE free dining upgrade to DDP with NO expire tickets

I hope I can explain this correctly,

We are planning two trips. One Sept '11 (4 adults) and one Nov '12.
(same adults but with kids)

we'd like to do 10 day no expire tix and upgrade our free dining to DDP. We are doing the adult only @ CBR this Sept. With the kids next Nov we're renting DVC points....

Free dining upgrade only applies to length of stay at CBR, right?
Can someone explain the ins and outs of doing this?

I'm not sure I understand the part you don't understand.

You would buy a package with free dining and the no expiration tickets of whatever length you need for both trips. You can upgrade the free dining by paying the difference between the regular price of the free package and the price of the package you want.

Next trip, you rent the DVC points and you already have your tickets to use. With a DVC reservation, you can add dining (not free but paid - there is no free dining with DVC reservations) without buying any more tickets or you can just get the room.

People in the US can only buy 10 day tickets max, no expire or not.

If your two trips together are more than 10 park days total, it most likely will not make sense to buy NE tickets due to the way they are priced. It would cost you more to do that and then buy additional tickets to cover all the days for your 2nd trip.
