I'm SURE this has been discussed over and over and over, but I can't do a search!

According to http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm

E-RIDE NIGHTS for July 6-12 are Tuesday 11pm-2am & Friday 10pm-1am

Does that mean that if you are staying on site, you can purchase an additional ticket that will let you stay in the park until 2am on Tuesday and 1am on Friday?

How much does it cost and when do you purchase it?

Thanks, and sorry again for re-asking a question that I'm sure has been answered many times!!

Pam

Never mind! I clicked on the link in the site and found my answers. Sorry for my hasty post!!

It costs $12.63 with tax for an adult and about $10.50 including tax for a child under 10 years. It is great fun.

Remember that you must be a Disney resort guest and you must have some type of multi-day pass that you use on the day of e-ride night. The E-ride ticket will not get you into the Magic Kingdom. You must use an admission to the park. Once inside you can trade your e-ride ticket for a wristband which allows you to stay after regular closing time.

Edit......
I apologize for answering when the OP said that she had found her own answer. But I think I was typing my response when she edited her original post.

If you are staying on-site and have a multi-day ticket that allows park hopping (PH, AP, etc) then you can purchase an e-night ticket. I believe it's 12 for adults and 10 for kids. You purchase it from your resort. Usually you can purchase it up to 4 days prior to the event, but you should check with the resort at check-in to find out. And yes, it is an additional 3 hours in the Magic Kingdom, but not all the rides are open, just the e-rides. The standard 9 rides open are:

Buzz Lightyear
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Alien Encounter
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Big Thunder Mountain
Haunted Mansion
Country Bears
Astro Orbiters

Traditionally if one of these rides is down for a scheduled rehab, they will replace it with another ride.

Since Big Thunder Mountain is one of my son's favorite rides, it sounds like it's worth it!

Any comments regarding the characters? The website said it's much easier during e-night to get pics with them. Are they still all out?

Are enough food places open, also? I have a family of snackers!

Pam

yes, the characters are much easier to get a picture with. I've walked up to Mickey and Minnie with only one or 2 people waiting in front of me.

As far as food goes, I know Casey's and the Main Street Ice Cream Shop are open, and I believe Pecos Bill stays open too.
