Hi All,

The entertainment schedule is finally posted for my weekend in November!

If I watch the fireworks in front of the castle at 9:30, could I make it to the dessert box seating for Fantasmic in time for the 10:30 show? Is there any chance they'll give my seat away if I'm not there by say, 15 minutes to showtime? If I do attempt this, is there a spot that would give me a great view but make it easier to move over there?

It will be the first Friday in November - my first night there!

You can show up for your seat whenever you want. We made it into our seat with 2 minutes to spare. We were the last party to reach their seats ;) The problem is you have to check in to select your seat, starting at 8. We were the first in line so I don't know how fast it went from there. Depending on when you did that you'd have time to go find a spot for RDCT.

Hmmm, well it wouldn't really bother me if I got there with only a few minutes to spare. Where is it you go to get taken to your seat? Is it obvious?

The check in spot where you wait in line to select your seat is the same spot where you'll return later with your tickets and let you in. It's right next to where that churro cart is across from the Haunted Mansion ;) That staircase.

After watching the fireworks, there is enough time to head over to do the F! package.

Now, where you can go to be taken to your seat depends on which seats you picked earlier in the day at 'check-in.' (not to be confused with picking up/purchasing your tickets) If you are near the middle light tower (sometimes referred to as light tower B or section B) you don't have to go all the way back to the check in stand. You can enter at the ropes closer to the light tower, to its rear.

If all that is confusing, you can go as Belle Ella said and just return to the check in area, but you might have walked a little extra. Again, it all depends on what seats you picked. My advice would be to take your seats early, but not because they will be given away. Doing so allows you time to enjoy your food. I prefer to eat before as you won't want to be eating during the show. I usually make it there by 10 after making one stop. It is not that hard to make it over there, for adults. It will be crowded, and they might hold you by the shooting gallery but don't fret.

RDCT and F! are two amazing shows. Both in one night is a great way to finish up the day.

EDIT:

I just wouldn't be on the far right near tomorrowland in front of the castle. You'll be heading toward frontierland. However, don't be too far left you want a good view of the castle and there are some larger trees to the left.

Thank you for this thread, I was wondering how to work it out myself!! This is our LAST night at DL :(

I have a related question. You pick up your tickets for Fantasmic at the outside ticket booth, correct? Can I pick them up the day before? I have Fantasmic tickets for Sunday night, which is our first day in the park. However, we will be at Downtown Disney saturday night/afternoon, and I would much rather pick them up then than before 8am on Sunday when I am all pumped to get into the park for my first day.

If you don't want to enter the park, you can pick up your tickets at Guest Services to the left of the main gate, facing the gate. Inside the park you can visit City Hall to pick up F! tickets. I don't believe the ticket booths can do F! tickets. Additionally, I'm not sure if you can pick them up early. I would tend to think you can.

However, you don't have to pick up your tickets first thing in the morning. For example, Sunday you could ride some rides or whatever and then pick them up after getting the first excitement out of the way. I would still recommend you pick them up in the morning, if for some reason there was an issue with the order they can resolve it before tickets are sold out. Twice I have just purchased tickets for the second show the day of, but I would recommend ordering in advance.

I didn't know I could pick them up at City Hall! Fantastic. Thank you so much. That will work just fine. :thumbsup2

If there is a wait for City Hall, I have been told I could also go to the Guided Tours booth (just left of City Hall) as well, but I have not tried it myself. Enjoy the F! seating, it is really a nice experience.
