RCI help!

We currently have a RCI reservation starting July 4th. We just found out this afternoon that our custody court date got moved to the week we are supposed to be gone. There is nothing on RCI available to Move it to. Is it possible to get those points back for DVC? I’m panicking. I really need this vacation! Plus I don’t want to lose 130 points! Sigh. Of course I can’t get through to member services.

Oh no! Have you tried sending an email? Or contacting RCI? I’ve never used it so I am not familiar with the rules and requirements of canceled trips.

AFAIK, nothing has changed with the RCI cancellation policy. The only way to know for certain is to call MS.

I finally got through. It’s a hot mess. The guy tried he really did. There’s just nothing open through RCI that works. I need a vacation!

I'm sorry . It looks like you can cancel and get your points redeposited into your RCI exchange account. You won't lose your points, but you'll have until December of next year to use them.

Once RCI points are deposited, if you change or cancel, you cannot use them as regular DVC points. If they are 2020 points, you have until 2021, Dec 31st to travel with RCI.
